Belgium starts blockchain technology - has Europe started to accept the crypto world?

Belgium and about 20 other European Union countries join in actively contributing to this ambitious project. It aims to launch blockchain technology among these European Union member states.

Now I wonder, have the European Union countries started to accept blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, and we have heard before about the encouraging statements of the Chinese president about blockchain?
Has a new era begun to accept cryptocurrencies in the world?

Thank you, careful analysis. Yes, the European Union countries started using blockchain technology but they did not mention the cryptocurrencies. They may use this technology only for economic and social purposes such as hospitals, education, aviation, and others without using it in the economy.

I think europe already accepts cryptocurrency. Its because base on what I have known, most of the countries that uses cryptocurrency are from europe continent. It means that even belgium release or launches blockchain technology, europe are already widely accepted to their continent.

I dont think if this is really good for cryptocurrency when there are many countries and banks interested to Blockchain technology. Is this means will benefit cryptocurrency? or they are only interested in the technology, means maybe will adopt the Bliockchain technology for their fiat money transaction.

Your words are true, but I feel that there is a kind of correlation between blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. The emergence of blockchain has come to an end with the emergence of bitcoin and therefore we may think that the adoption of blockchain by the European Union may be a prelude to accepting bitcoin.

Blockchain is not necessarily cryptocurrency. A blockchain is a database or registry that processes very quickly and a lot of data in a short amount of time. Blockchain simplifies the work of banks and other structures.

Yes I know that completely my friend, I know that the blockchain is different from the cryptocurrency but it is always associated with it, and the first appearance of the blockchain was with bitcoin, so when European countries accept the blockchain and start working with it, they may encourage that in the future to accept cryptocurrencies.

Basically they just want to use the blockchain technology for government services as registers and governing. They just want the immutable database that blockchain provides, and later after much testing expand it's intergration in more finanacial and industrial applications. The EU stance on crypto is still the same, although lately Germany seems to be in favour of legalizing crypto and creating favourable terms for it's trading and usage.

Yes, they will certainly use the blockchain for the purposes of preventing corruption and other matters such as legal, medical, social, etc. This is a good thing and I do not know why it will have a negative impact on the prices of cryptocurrencies. I think the opposite.

I am very happy that currently every country is starting to accept bitcoin. And this is what we as a whole bank deal with digital currency. Belgium has introduced blockchain technology, not only Belgium but many countries in Europe have now started taking crypto currency.

Yes, it is starting of crypto era. Many countries are talking about crypto. Some of them are interested to create their own coins. I have seen many countries who first avoided the crypto but after they started supporting it. But money laundering is big issue in crypto if it is solved then within few years crypto would be established in every country.

This is what I believe and this is what I said previously in many of my posts. I strongly believe that the future will be with cryptocurrencies and that all countries will accept it in the near future because no one can face the power of development and the logic of history.

Although the use of blockchain does not necessarily mean accepting or working with cryptocurrencies, but I am optimistic that this will change European countries' view of blockchain technology and its uses, especially cryptocurrencies, and will accept it in the near future.
