Bitcoin Faucets

Recommended Posts

I have read about the faucet by Gavin Andresen that was giving 5 bitcoins. It was the price of Bitcoin being very low and just a bunch of people were mining and were trying to increase adoption and make the name Bitcoin known and popularize it. It took years but they made it.

If we used to join the Faucet, maybe now I could be rich, it is an opportunity that cannot be repeated and I think we have wasted that opportunity. Right now the Faucet is not profitable by paying very little satoshis. Luckily at the moment CryptoTalk continues to pay us using Bitcoin, so this is quite helpful.

Every  time faucet  value remain useless  and it only get created just to advertising  their site..  Yah that time btc faucet  pay high btc as you mentioned  but no one  understand  the value of its high price.   Like you can see now that some doge faucet  give almost 2-3 doge every  hour but its value??  One day doge can be too like btc 😉

@Oki  yes we miss one good opportunity but today's and 10 years back days conditions different, 10 years back on one understand what exactly bitcoin concept is, if we are in that place then we also ignores bitcoin, but today bitcoin got popularity and high price that's why we know, but still we have so many opportunities to earn satoshis, just collect and hold maybe ten years after these our collected satoshis made us become rich.

Most faucet sites are scams.  So I haven’t worked on any faucet site to date.  But some faucet sites were original and they paid people.  I don't want to waste time on faucet site, so I don't worry about faucet site income.  Currently no faucet site will pay bitcoin

All about the time. I just imagine now, what would happen if I was there to collect 5 BTC from the faucet sites in 2010 for free? Bitcoin has already accomplished its 1 decade's journey and now you can see very high price of Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency markets. Some faucet sites are here but they do not pay more except a few Satoshi while claiming on their sites.

I heard that story before,
On distributing 5 Bitcoins to members on that site,
At the time, Bitcoin was not originally valuable,
Now, no one distributes nearly 100 satoshi a day because the price has become fantastically high.

Gavin Anderson's faucet is such a good example of how Bitcoin value has grown so much to reach current unexpected levels, if he knew that Bitcoin was going to hit $40 K after ten years, I highly doubt he was going to give away 5 whole BTC for visiting the faucet. If we follow this logic, perhaps the rewards given by the faucets we despise today, could similarly rise in value, honestly I don't think this may be the case but many others do.

Bitcoin faucets do not give a lot of money, and they only give small amounts, so beginners can only collect a few currencies with them. More experienced people, on the other hand, rely on other strategies such as trading and investing because they are more lucrative.

Bitcoin faucets were very profitable during the early years of this currency's creation, but with the rise in the value of Bitcoin, these faucets began to reduce their profits, and many fake and fraudulent faucets appeared.

My friend for me I do not prefer bitcoin taps they are not good at all and they are not very profitable, and in the recent period they have become fraudulent, and have not been trusted.
