The whales can't do a lot anymore, they weren't strong when prices were rising either as they were only selling tens of thousands of Bitcoins and making millions in useless USD only wanting to rebuy higher. I feel there are some whales that have no sense of finances or knowledge on Bitcoin.

The whales are uncontrollable. What is perhaps the only think I've seen happening is they are reduced in size. They own less Bitcoin now than in the past and they have less influence. The only way to end with whales is to wait for them to slowly lose their market power and become irrelevant. I think this is very close to happen and perhaps within another three to four years they will not create many problems.

Buy be careful on investing and just wait for right time and then invest your money.
