Why much people still think Crypto is gambling?

Probably the Chinese government thinks so by banning financial and banking operations with cryptocurrency in their country. They are afraid that the people of China will all rush to the cryptocurrency training market and a significant part of the budget will leave the country.

They can think think that Bitcoin is gambling because most of people grow up with traditional finance and hard to understand new contamporary system.

Because most of them don't even know the purposes of this crypto world and don't have enough knowledge about how it works! i think that it's really important for each one to learn more about that because as many experts said that blockchain is one of the best technologies during the 21th century!

Some people think this in first place because of the fear ot this new tech, and also because big whales in stocks markets in example tell them that cryptos are bubbles... We need a more educated world in order to have the best economy in the human history  🙂 .

High crypto price fluctuations make people think that crypto is gambling, sometimes crypto brings high profits, sometimes crypto brings losses that make people think it is gambling. Because trading is close to gambling and if you day trade or use leverage it is exactly gambling and you can lose all your money easily. I don't understand why people think it is not gambling.

This is the reason that they have seen the derivatives exchanges as Bitmex and bibyt that cheat their customers and give them offers with poor odds to trade with leverage and liquidate them constantly cheating them.

I don't like gambling at all but this because it is made to lose. It has so rare chance to make money and they plan on that to make you feel so good when you win that you want to play more. This is addiction and once we understand it, gambling loses a lot and we can quit. But crypto is a word used to descibe cryptocurrencies. And you talk about trading. Maybe trading is gambling too.

This is because the word crypto is used to descibe all the scam activities happened in this space and there are so many gambling websites too accepting cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are used for transactions how is a purchase gambling? You gamble you will not receive what you bought?

I would like a better explanation of this sentence. I am not sure what you mean by crypto problems. Do you mean the cryptographic algorithms used by blockchains to mine blocks? Miners solve problems in the forum of difficult equations to mine blocks. Like sha256 or Scrypt. Are you talking about this? Can someone mistake an algorithm with gambling? This is strange and I don't understand this either how they can consider it gamblign.

Because they dont have knowledge of this world, they dont know what is technical or fundamental analysis, thats why they say that this is gambling, they dont know that is possible predict the price of a crypto for the future

That's yet another splendid question. To respond to this, I must refer to a piece of advice that I heard from one of my mentors, Brian Tracy. In one of his published books, he asserted that most people are risk averse to investing and building businesses due to their paradigm. This paradigm remains the greatest reason behind swathes of people consider that asset trading equates to gambling. Of course, it's an erroneous belief. The best path to success is through education, carefully crafted plans, and swift execution.

there is less using cases with cryptocurrencies, many people use it just for trading. Other reason maybe there are many scams in cryptocurrency market, useless coins and tokens. And the last maybe because if volatiliy of crypto' price.

They say that because they don't understand that crypto is technology. The first mistake is this one. The second is that they think the price of a cryptocurrency determines it's real value. Or say that some coins have low price because it is bellow one dollar and things like that. Someone that understands nothing will say anything to have his consiense in good terms.

Because there is also a probability. But it is hundred times secured than the gambling. We should make this thread clear to those people in our own way.

The concept of gambling from crypto have been spread through fake coins in market because investment in them is really a gamble. But otherwise crypto trading is a skill which can earn for you.

They think crypto is gambling because they never made any research on how crypto work and operate. These set of people lose money from hyip sites and scam site and conclude that crypto is a gamble.

This is because the price of crypto fluctuates so much that it seems as if other people consider crypto to be gambling, even though cryptocurrency trades crypto currencies that are traded on an exchange. I think people should be able to differentiate between gambling and trading.

Those wo don't have enough idea about the crypto they are gonna be put the blame of the gambling on the crypto. But the strategy of the trading is almost like the gambling. The way they way buy and the operation run that's have the little bit similarity with the crypto.
