One thing I've learnt from crypto is how to hold for a long term. You can cut some cryptocurrency loose but never cut everything away. Keep a good percentage in your wallet which you can sell at anytime when the price goes up.

Holding is actually good for long term but if you want to cut loss you can do trading, if your fear is that you don't know weather there's going to be bullrun before the end of the year 2020.

Well, as for beginner, I more prefer to you to hold it. Why? Because if you hold it while bitcoin is still dump, then when bitcoin pumps and the next bull run will finally come, you can trade it and you can get much higher profit.

Honestly, in this cryptomarket anything can happen. Although after having many years of experience in this world, the advice I can give you is that if you are planning to hold, you should buy Bitcoin if you want to make profit in the long long term. In the short and mid term the price of bitcoin fluctuates too much, so I suggest whatever you decide to invest into BTC, keep it as such for 2 or 3 years and see how much it has gained value in terms of fiat. I wouldnt recommend investing too much into altcoins because they tend to lose value vs bitcoin in the long run.

 

Now, if you are a trader, which is different from a long time investor, then thats another thing. First you must learn about charting, study patterns and such. I honestly do not recommend trading, 95% of the people lose their money trading, but its up to you what you decide to do with your investment.

According to my opinion Bitcoin should be kept at this rate as it will increase many prices in the future. Holding BTC will result in higher prices by the end of 2020.  Your decision when buying or selling should not be made when the trade is executed. But if you have already invested most of your money, then look at the charts, the previous story, learn from more experienced traders who trade this particular coin for a long time, and then you decide what to do.

I think both of them have a different use or application. You want to hold when you don't want to sell or the price has declines, and you will cut loss if you don't want to have too many loses. I will do one of them depending what situation I'm in.

I think its a hold, and this is the reason why, my method of trading is far much different than any other, one its because you can hold and exit some at given positions, if you take for example bitcoin which has run everything out of propotion, be sure to look at what happend,  when it started, it was some 1 dollar, so any body who exited at this time lost, or gain some little , look at what is happening, if you have 100000 ripples and when it give you a dollar, this as of now will cost you about 30 k Usd and when you get to about 1 dollar each sell about 30000 of them so that gives you about everything you invested so from there exit a little bit at a time, when it hits 100 sell some but keep about 10 K of them to when you get as much as 10,000 each thats my strategy
