google authenticator

It is a security application. You can make your record greater security with that. Each record have a qr code and reinforcement key. You need to consistently compose the reinforcement key since, supposing that you lose this you cann't access your record. On the opposite side google authenticator doesn't store reinforcement it. In the event that you unistall the application, at that point all information will be clear.

Google athenticater is also like a restoring application which is used to restore some deleted or lost websites. It has codes if that code and the code present on your account are matched then you can get back your posts application.

You can save the code in another phone before you add it to your phone and before entering the program there are backup copies, click on it and then type OK, so a backup copy is made.

One of the ways to protect our account is the use of 2fa, google is the most common but not the only one existing, there are other ones like Microsoft, aegies and andOTP and the likes. But before we enable it on our account, we need to take great responsibility to protect the backup and the codes it generates.

You do not need to back up your Google Authenticator application / data, as you can create a list of 'Backup Codes' that you can use to log in without requiring an authentication code on the same page that you set up 2-step authentication.

Google Authenticator doesn't offer a direct way to back up your data, but you can use the Google website to replace your phone. If you have a large number of saved credentials, it is a good practice to use an app like "Authy" to save your codes and restore after changing devices. Another tip is to print and save your Authenticator codes while creating an account on it. This article will also show you how to download and save backup codes that you can use to access your accounts without Authenticator. Each of the methods below allows you to keep your accounts safe while transferring a device.

Stages:

  1. Transfer Google Authenticator to a new phone
  2. Backing up Authenticator codes with Authy
  3. Installing Authy on a New Device
  4. Registering a Backup Key or QR Code
  5. Downloading Backup Codes

I do not think that you can create a backup copy from the Google Authenticator because I encountered this problem and I had exceeded my codes and this caused me to lose my accounts, we must save your code in a safe place before entering it in Google Authenticator

Actually, I think it's fairly safe to use it in every application or website that supports 2FA.Personally, I use KeyPass to organize the information of all my sites and I use Google Authenticator on 2 devices at the same time. It help's you protect your account from hackers and hijackers by adding an additional layer of security.
