So my answer is there are 3 types of blockchain which are public blockchain, private blockchain and blockchain consortium. Public type blockchain This type of blockchain model is the most widely used and most commonly used today because it was developed jointly by a community without space limit (blocks). Cryptocurrency uses a public blockchain. Private Blockchain, cannot be accessed by the public, usually belongs to agencies, organizations or companies. Blockchain consortium, is a private blockchain owned by several groups to achieve common goals.

 idea of blockchain is one , but  different coins have their own chain , all are based on blockchain technology but , ETH has eth blockchain, XRP has its own xrp chain, and btc has bitcoin blockchain
