One of the reasons for this is that mining the coins is much more time consuming than just as it costs a lot of money and also has the highest demand and the highest supply in comparison to its demandThis is why these coins are basically so high

That's true and the supply will even become lesser because of the coming halving and this will drive the price higher, that is why this year is very exiting for us because of the coming halving it might triple the price or better ten times of the current price.
