It is surprising that cryptocurrencies are so popular in Africa, but it’s true, indeed in some countries you can pay directly with cryptocurrency, which is very cool for me...

I do not agree with my opinion. I think Asia is the continent most used for bitcoin. You know that China is the first country to deal with bitcoin and the first cryptocurrency, and it has the largest mining and crypto industries in addition to other Asian countries, so I think Asia is superior to Africa in this field.

In my opinion some Africans country bitcoin is used are South Africa, Nigeria,Ghana, Zimbabwe etc. Both the young and old in South Africa have displayed their interest and commitment in the use of Bitcoin.

Among those you mentions, Zimbabwe was news  of an Exchange by closed, due to the theft of all its assets by the owner.

The always sad news surrounding the altcoins, Where literally anyone can launch an Exchange.

It was gladly to saw that one of the largest continent utilized crypto as their platform in mode of transactions. We all know that Africa was not slightly adapted the changes of technology and the fundamental shifts were not fully developed in their country. Indeed, famine and poverty were still rampant nowadays but in spite of these circumstances crypto will serve as their catalyst for the progress and betterment of their country. I do hope that crypto will be globally accepted and China will soon adapt from these technological advancements.

That is good news, we can see cryptocurrency is not only used in high tech country, like Japan, China, US.

But in developed country also used. Cryptocurrency is known to help stabilize the economy worldwide. So if African using Bitcoin, that is i know African is on the trouble with their fiat money. Maybe the inflation going up uncontrolled. So they prefer buying Bitcoin, where we know it is anti inflation, because the market is only based supply and demand.

That is a great news for South Africans and Nigerian citizens that  their countries are utilizing the modern day technology more than others. This habbit can lead them to big success in the near future. I hope my country also lifts ban from cryptocurrency and let their people use it with freedom.

It feels like more and more countries are going to adopt Bitcoin which further legitimizes bitcoin...

When people in huts in Africa know more about bitcoin than the general populace in Industrialized nations, makes me think bitcoin has a shit ton more head room to grow.

huts have you seen lately nigeria or south africa ? where did you find huts ?

Apart from those i would say Kenya and Ghana are probably among the top cryptocurrency users as well. Crypto usage is africa is rising rapidly because more people are finding it easier to use them for transactions rather than the old oayment systems. Africa is leading over other continets in terms of fast adoption.
