Creating New Topics without Source Link: What to do?

I also think the new bies do this wrong as they dont maintain the rules or they donot read the rules of this forum before making any new post here.

Creating New Topics without Source Link: What to do?
To maintain the quality of the forum, of course regulations must take precedence. If we encounter plagiarism without source link, we should immediately report it, but it must be with strong evidence of the origin of the content, in my opinion it would be better to clean the forum from copy paste.

Well, it depends also on what kind of topic a member here will create but if it's like a news or from the article then it's great to include a link or source for the other members will visit it and read it again or to see if it's valid and true.

Well I have not though about this at all. I will begin to look note closely at this idea. Although I a. Looking st just making high quality comments and sharing topics that are very necessary for the growth and development of the platform. Guys, understand why this is very important. Just understand that a lot of newbies don't do it of bad faith. You have to ask them read rules better. Need help to new people like me.

Simply if you want to discuss about a specific topic then you just have to do researchs about that topic and posts.Hopefully your post will not deleted

Everybody deserves a second chance. But it is our duty as members to monitor and report users who repeatedly does the mistake of spamming, abusing,or posting unnecessary posts, we have every right to report them,to help keep this forum running and free of spams . Just for some few people who are spamming everybody has to suffer when this forum closed down because of violating rules and guideline of this forum.

A lot of people who are doing this also do not add any comment or original information to the news they are copying and pasting from. So it is like we are reading directly from the news outlet which is not only not fun, but also in violation of the rules. Perhaps we can report these posts.

this would be the bad habit that the members are creating the topics within giving any specific links that they got the information so we have to give the source of the information we are posting.which will be a great thing.

I think rules should be written on the page where a new user register. Like to fininh registration on the forum you should to read rules and prove that you really red them.

Most of the newbies are just creating topics so randomly, so i think it would be much better if they read the rules before doing some actions into this forum so they wont face any problems.

Yeah,this is not copy paste promoting form we have to mention the source of content and make publication of original content  author.

Basically those who are new here make these problems. They create topics without a source link. Creating a topic without the source link makes it difficult to post. In my opinion, those who are new here have to consider the other aspects of this topic and make it a topic.

Yes, we can report those. Sadly, the forum can be chock full of those sometimes, and even the most dedicated 'forum police' might tell you that reporting those kind of threads, day in and day out, is proving to be quite a chore, to say the least. It would take the effort of not just the mods and the forum 'cops', but also the whole community to at least reduce their number to insignificance.

It is a good thing that someone open up a topic like this because some of us here really copy and paste thing in internet and post it here as a new topic. They don't even paraphrase it or use citation to it. It looks like they are claiming it as their own write up.

THe best would be (as i do) reply back by mentioning such source and you can find yourself and link it on your reply.

Or you can just direct report him or send him a pm.

Those are the easiest solutions.

I thank you for your way of thinking because i'm one of the new ones who doesn't know how to use properly the search option, in some new topic that i publish the first comment was "i recommend you delete your post because there are already another one with a very similar topic", that user gave me a second chance as you are doing now.

Including source links for your thread is important for legal reasons. Google the words "internet copyright laws" for more info.

 

If you haven't left some source links on the topic you made on your thread, you are insinuating that the contents of your thread are of your own, and not copied from other sources.

 

Threads created here are being scrutinized by mods and some regular users, and are checked for signs of plagiarism. If evidence is found that the content is copy/pasted, and the source is found, the offender gets a few warning points and/or banned.

 

Paraphrasing copy/pasted content will not work either, because the ones doing the scrutiny are not stupid.

 

So if you created original content and confident that you did not 'grabbed' it from somewhere else, that's good for you. But if you are using other sources for your content, you'd better include your source link too. I think there was a recent announcement by a mod about it. Here it is:
