It was previously known as the Zerocoin protocol before it was transformed into the Zerocash system and finally into Zcash. What is Zcash?
Zcash (ZEC) is a Digital Asset whose transactions are completely anonymous. If in Bitcoin transactions we can see a person's transactions starting from the number of transactions and their address.

Zcash is a new approach to the anonymity problem inherent in cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin. As we have seen, Bitcoin only has semi-anonymous characteristics, where several analytical techniques can be used to reveal some information related to the identity of BTC users.

To solve this problem, Zcash uses a technique first developed by the Zerocash team. Thank you for your information. Zkash is a cryptocurrency project. That orgenated idea of Zerocoin. ZCash is much better, it is easier to make money by trading, and it is very easy to make money in Bitcoin through exchanges.

Thank you my friend for the explanation, i'm collecting this coin from about 3 months now and i'm not planing to sell before 2022, i believe in holding coin, no matter what the market is doing, i will only watch it and collect as much as i can.

@tienda...zcash is a good currency among cryptocurrencies and its price is well positioned in the crypto market.  These coins have a good supply.  Its maximum was above 5K.  However, its current price is 67$  However, the price will increase in the future so everyone can hold this coin.

Wallet balance and transferred amount is hard to trace if that is made through ZCash so it is known as privacy coin. Mainly those who wish to keep everything secret, are preferring to choose privacy coins  like Zcash, Monero(XMR), Dash, etc. Performances of these privacy coins are incredibly well in the cryptocurrency markets.

It is true that Zec has a good encryption system.  However, the past record of coins is not good.  So it has not yet become popular.  But ZEC will do better in the future.
