Why is bitcoin so expensive?

Thanks for giving us such a good explanatory post and in both russian and english. It means a lot to me to keep learning and from what I know until today it is two factors that make the Bitcoin price so expensive. It is demand and supply. But calling it expensive maybe a mistake as imagine Bitcoin's price at 100k. This will make the 15k we are today a very cheap price instead.

Bitcoin will be very expensive because people are buying I, but we should know the lowest unit of bitcoin is satoshi, and it is not expensive. I can buy bitcoin less than 1 btc which makes me not to bother about the expense.

Friend you have a mistake in your post. The last Bitcoin will be mined in 2140 and not 2040 as you have written. Probably you mistakenly typed this or you had the wrong information but it is important to know about this and have the facts correct.

Bitcoin is the first currency to be introduced in this field that's why it had to face less competition in the beginning which helped it to grow very fast. It's maximum supply is almost same as other coins so that cannot be the reason for it's price.

I don't think you can say it is expensive as you will have to compare it with something else for this reason. Bitcoin is not expensive in my opinion. It is the dollar and national fiat that should worth more but the central banks did everything to make our currencies worthless and we need to find another option as better money.

With a decentralized system of transactions you get inclussion in a financial system of everybody in the world. Banks have excluded millions in our societies for many reasons. Of course it is always supply and demand as we are in a huge market with hundreds of exchanges so manipulating Bitcoin price as some say it is not easy, in fact I think it is impossible. Demand is driving the price up as supply is fixed and we know exactly how it is programmed.

I still think that Bitcoin is not very expensive at $20,000 and with everyone that wants to buy some it will be a very low price that will be the beginning for 2021 and a price we may not see again as Bitcoin can enter a new area of support at $40k and even reach $100k for the next year.

Bitcoin is has many feature that helps to give a big price but I am say that it is expensive for today maybe not for tomorrow because the price is keep increasing and from the news we are reading there will be even higher prices as the interest is rising.

We all wish that to be what will happen but this might not also be possible. Be it possible or now, I have holdings in bitcoin for 2021 rally. Everyone has been expecting 2021 to be another year that will favour bitcoin in a way it will lead to bitcoin mooning.

Bitcoin has many more features and some of the technicals that are mentioned above might also not be correct. And they are not the only reasons that Bitcoin is valuable. It was not expensive last year though, in fact I always thought it was a bargain.

It is not about bitcoin not expensive last year, if the price later increase to over $50000 next year, people will say it was cheap this year. Bitcoin price is never a bargain, all you need is to know your plan, if maybe you should hold or not.

in my case. people trade with btc. so the btc is most expensive. and it is the first crypto currency which have launched for first time. its value increasing with passege of time. At this time 1 btc have 23000$+ worth.
