I think you shoud mistake because Bangladesh government not legalized use any cryptocurrency but not ban yet. I am from Bangladesh I saw many people transection with bitcoin and buy sell crypto using many p2p site like paxful and localbitcoin site.

Bangladesh is growing economic country, bitcoin is still unstable currency, Bangladeshi currency is very low against bitcoin, Our central bank thought it will harmful for our currency, That's why it banned.

Money laundering is one of the main reasons for the ban in Bitcoin Bangladesh.  The government of Bangladesh has banned Bitcoin from considering all such aspects.  But many users of Bangladesh are acting without the government's prohibition.  And some users may not work even if they want to ban it.

it is sad that there are still countries which are banning bitcoin and crypto currencies and i really don't understan why they are so afraid about crypto, there is really no sense to ban them.

i hope they will revoke those limitations

I also got the news as a Bangladeshi. But last year in 2019 starting time our prime minister announced that She will approve Blockchain technology in our country. That means soon we can see bitcoin regulation in our country.

In Asia there is no legal document or law is available to ban bitcoin or any other crypto currencies. In our country some experts have try to find the law against the bitcoin but they cant find any law about it. So the bitcoin can not be officially banned in our country and in Asia as well.

not only Bangladesh, in fact almost all countries have not stated that crypto is a legitimate asset. but some countries do allow crypto to be used as investment assets but all forms of risk are not borne by the government including hacking.

I think in this time crypto are illegal in Bangladesh. In 2014 Bangladesh Bank made it illegal. And any kind of transaction make with crypto will be count as illegal. Because crypto use on darke sites. And Bangladesh think it's only use on illegal activities.

I think there is not just Bangladesh who will ban Bitcoin or prohibit all cryptocurrency circulation on their countries, I think right now is not possible for countries to adopt Bitcoin or other coin, because is not stable, is very volatile, and also they will not accept to do business with it because is illegal. So what is the solution?....

Bangladesh will soon start accepting bitcoin again in their country because if they don't then this is going to be a disadvantage for them. Because other countries will make profit while they won't
