The people manipulating the price are becoming too predictable now. They trigger a massive drop in the price and people follow like sheep and start dumping some coins. When the price drop between $600 to $1000, they quickly start buying again to turn things around and then they just wait for the price to recover slowly to sell at a $600 to $1000 (per coin) profit. Rinse and repeat and you smile all the way to the Bank.    They make sure not to make the price too volatile, because that would scare merchants and it will hamper merchant adoption. So, how low are we going this time around? We saw $3000 in January and we made some good profits at $12 000... The 2017 buyers made some massive losses on the coins that they bought at the all-time-high (ATH) of $18 000, so I think it is time to reward some of them with a recovery to $20 000.

I am of the opinion that manipulation has always been. Perhaps in 2017 the price of bitcoin rose in part because of the many supported forks. Since people bought bitcoin to get free coins such as... Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin, Cash, etc

As a crypto user i see bitcoin very attractive and make profit from it.But recently i stumble on content about bitcoin where bitcoin is considered as any country  currency and that country will be handle by the person who have most bitcoin this person or organisation could be gangster/drug cartel etc.I start thinking it will ruin this country  and all will be puppets in his hand.So as i see now bitcoin is not free to me it is now manipulated by big whales and they made profit from it small medium investors suffers from it.This is clear  miss use of Bitcoin.I hope bitcoin will bring good things for our self.

I do not think that why in every announcement of china about cryptocurrencies affect the prices? I have seen many news when china announce good news the prices start to rise and when the announce bad news so prices start to down.

I like many agree with you, too many fraudsters have divorced, who manipulate the price, then lower it, then raise it. Nowadays, much has changed, you cannot trust sites without checks, you first need to make sure the site is reliable, and then use it already, otherwise we risk being deceived. It’s time for someone to do this, check every site for reality and block sites with scammers.
