No, and not possible too. Majority of Indian population depends on physical currency to transact daily having offline market. While bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are digital currencies and not in physical form. Also bitcoin doesn't have control of anyone over it to regulate it. So concept of making cryptocurrency as national currency is totally failed in practical.

some countries now taking very serious to crypto market in these countries India is included because in I think January 2020. Indian Supreme Court said this market is not illegal .may be behind this development India can regulate this market soon.

Not only India I think every asian country should legalize crypto currencies to get benefit for asia too. As crypto can be very helpful to resolve some of economic problems if it is implemented with proper regulations.

I am wondering that many of countries allowing blockchain technology cources but not accepting crypto currencies which are based on blockchain technology too.
