How to enabled this feature??

I have seen in many member profile where has a post box..but i dont know the feature how to enable the same post box in my profile so that also members can post in my profile timeline.. Any one know about this feature??  Please help me about this feature..  The screenshot is below

That would be the 'status update' feature.

 

You should have the feature turned on first, as it may be disabled by default. There should be an 'Edit Profile' button in your personal page where you can see the "Enable status updates?" option over there beside a sliding button. Just set it up to "On" and you should now be able to write your own status profile topics, and let other members write status updates in your own profile page as well.

Well, as far as i know, this content is now already posted here in this forum and the tendency is there is a duplicate content or topic which is made today, i hope you may understand mate.

@George10 Oh I got you, I have enabled the feature but I didn't know that because of enabling status update others get this feature while visiting our profile. I have commented the query on your post but now I got the answer here.

@Dorjoy12 ofcource mate , this is really well features same as Facebook . we can used this feature when we have something say ( postive or negetive view about a member ) . personally I never try it but surely I will try when I have something valid reason behind it .

Well some members @George10 @kyoukage01 had already suggested or provided the best and easiest way to go through and enable that feature, I hope it would get you and other members who are yet to know about this features cleared. Moreover you must be lauded for taking the step to remind and enlightening every one about the interesting feature.

Exactly @Dorjoy12 that's the first thing to consider being someone old or top member or any level, always work hard and be ready to render assistance, help to the best of your capability when the need arises.

This status feature of this forum. It is same as we use status in facebook and whatsapp. And anyone can reply it also. You can turn it ON in setting.

Thanks for sharing this information about this forum now i know this trick for blocking and enabling the private messages this will help for those users which dont want to receive messages from any users .
