I think some of topics are being locked because it's a topic that is already existing or published by another user, maybe this is their way to stop users on commenting to duplicated topics so that the original topic will gain more replies and comments. Also the other reason is the topic is not useful or containing false information.

I saw lot of locked topic in this forum. I think these are locked only for reach limitation of comments. So these topic has been locked.

Yes, many of the topics are locked by the moderators and your stated reasons are very true about it. It can be the reason that the topics are old and they reached maximum number of responses.

You find it right buddy. Moderator lock the topics when these don't need much more responses. For example if you post a topic asking for any tips or favors and already some members reply to it the problem has been solved. Then the moderators lock it.

I feel topics get locked because there have been plenty of responses to the topic and most responses are similar. Secondly it could be the topic is not valid in the present circumstances.

I don't know the exact reason of locking some the topics in every section but I think the topic that have good information that is necessary and valuable for each and every member or the topic the answer of those questions which are frequently asked by the members specially the newbies who are new at the forum are locked or pinned so every can read it easily.Its my personal observation so you can disagree with it.

Yes my friend I also noticed that some of the topics are being locked by the members or admins of this forum. I also thinks that maybe these reasons are behind it we cannot say anything about it  accurately

I think topics get deleted because da e questions are asked again and again or topics might are against the rules and regulations.

Moderators lock topics for which answers have been reached until no more comments are added and even there are not many useless responses and this is a really good feature because some topics must be closed when an adequate answer is obtained.

Those reason are really some of the reasons why they are locked ,non of my topics have been locked , because am yet to even make a topic. So those with other reason should please help

Thanks for this kind information I also saw some topics that are locked and we can't add our comment on it but some are really very useful and they are needed and some other topic that relate with that old topic are not available so why that old topic are blocked. I tho they should open them for us and we can add our comment in it and can get benefit from it.

Actually i am a beginner here and didn't have much knowledge on why some topics in the forum are locked because i have also witness this where by i want to comment on some topic and i noticed it was locked but what i feel is that the moderators knows best for locking those topics because i think it would have been deleted from the group if the topic is not found worthy to be on the forum.

Dear friends, I don't have much idea about locked things.  But I think things are locked.  He has a specific reason.  However, there is no opportunity to comment on locked issues in the forum.  It may open up in the future depending on the time.  But you get ideas about locked things right now.

Yes I noticed that looked topics the reason I think because of mostly replies, too olds, or meaningless therefore the moderators  looked those on last otherwise there may be any other reason.

I have seen numerous topic getting locked or will be told that the topic can not be located does this also mean that the post or topic has been deleted

Exactly whoever is a member is being made a problem since the last days that when he posts, he gets deleted, the fun here is that he comments one to two times in the same post.You see the creative and useful topics, I would not have commented before, let them comment, then your post will not be deleted.

I think that these topics are closed due to their lack of importance, and perhaps they are repeated topics, so the supervisors close them and stop comments on them.

The topic that is locked by a moderator is usually one that has been covered in many other topics and to stop other members from replying on a topic that is discussing the same topic, the moderator locks the topic. I think locking topics is much better than deleting them.

the topics are been locked by the moderators because they think that there is no further discussion needed on the particular topic and they topic is worth keeping so they stop the new replies and they keep the topic too.

My dear, most of the topics that are deleted are duplicate topics, as we have to abide by the laws and the rules of the forum in order to benefit from that and always offer the useful in order for everyone to benefit

Indeed, I noticed the presence of some locked topics. I do not know the real reason behind the lock. Perhaps the three reasons you mentioned were correct, but in my opinion the first reason is the most correct reason behind the lock.

That's right it can happend sometimes. If your topics locked it's probably no needed anymore, or there could be older post. I think it's very needed to locking some posts  because after a while post can lose competence and if they won't lock those posts, it'll be totaly waste of time and it won't be good for the forum.
