If you had to choose between faster transaction time and security/privacy what would be your choice?

Recommended Posts

I think that we all want transactions to be faster but security/privacy is more important because that's how I can be confident that my money is safe.

I definitely choose safety over speed.

Anyway, I have read a comment that the fastest is Ethereum ... maybe you have tried a different mainnet than mine 🙂

Jokes aside, as I was saying, privacy and security are the main values in my opinion of the blockchain

Security comes first my friend @lharost.First of all we need security of our coin.IF the coin is not secure there is no benefit of faster transaction.Suppose if you sent a coin to someone which is not safe  with fast transaction speed and the coin gets hacked and stolen by someone. So what will be it's benefits then.So I will go with security/Privacy.

You are right  my friend that security/privacy should be number 1. Fast transaction speed means nothing if you tokens get stolen. But If the transaction speed is slow then you would have to wait days for your transactions to complete and it would be frustrating. I would prefer both like how @Adiegumabao mentioned in her post that tron and ripple are safe and the transaction speed is very fast. That is what I would really choose.

I would choose security of course.

Fast transactions maybe the sign of fraud.

When they are secure, you can really wait a bit longer without wasting nerves ))

Security is undeniably above speed, why do I want a fast transaction putting security at risk? It would be risky and losing money is not what we are looking for, there are platforms that offer both and of course those are the ones we use, but as you say if I have to choose between the two security first.

i would go for security since having a low security would causes the coins to vanish and puts everything at full risk but on the other hand if the transaction speed is normal or even slow it wouldn't cause you to lose anything important (maybe a little time which is no problem if the security is great).

Security of course! If your transaction will be fast but not secure, you can lose your money. The slower transaction is better than fast losing.

there are automatic transactions but almost always those pages that have these transactions always fall so I recommend other pages

In this world where everyone is hacked and stolen, security would be the priority for me, speed is important, but always safety first, of course the combination between speed and security would be the idea, it is still not achieved 100 %

I want to choose security and privacy on quick transactions because I don't like to go fast enough to make it go well and i have to keep my money here so that no one gets it. Anyway it's going to be a slow transaction, it's okay as long as I know my income is safe and Personally I'm okay.

Well, I think we should work with a platform that gives us a very good combination of all these aspects! Since for example, for me personally they have the same importance

Lot's of people usually choose security and privacy when they are asked about it, but in reality they prefer to use fast tx. I think having principles are nice and all but if we are in a hurry, there most definitely is a use case for fast transactions.

The question is like asking me whether I prefer to use one hour to publish 100 low quality post in this forum which will be deleted before tomorrow or to use the same one hour to publish 5 standard posts that will be here forever. My dear, i prefer security of my transaction to fastness. Safety first!

in my case I have had a good experience with tron and so blockchain, but you also have to investigate because there are altcoins dedicated to this purpose of privacy and speed

Security is preferable since speed can generate more money but security avoids theft of funds.

Of course I choose security and privacy (for the same reasons mentioned in all the posts) above transaction speed (which is also important if a coin is to be accepted)

But what about choosing between security and privacy? Must a coin be privat or not. Is it bad if everybody can see what everybody buys/sells?

I will go with the better security option cause security is the most important priority in the crypto world there is lots of scammers who are try to steal your money from your account. What you will do if your account is blank , then the fast transaction have no value.

I would choose privacy because there's less risk in that and if you choose faster transaction sometime the security is not that good and people may loose their money as well so always choose privacy.

In crypto space we have some coins that gives you faster transaction speed but some of them might not have the best security or privacy features while there are also some other coins that offer security or privacy but they are not as fast.

What would your choice be if you had to choose only one between fast transaction speed and security/privacy?

Most of time i prefer fast transaction over secrecy because I am not doing anything wrong or doing money laundering. Where people like me small investors go for fast transaction to send and receive money.

But we know in mind the secrecy is utmost important for crypto assets and can't say no.

I am like speed of the transaxtion but if this is not safe then I not want fast but securtity, so no money is lost. I am find the bitcoin and ethereum fee very high to send crypto so I am not use them but I am use the Tron that is very fast and very good coin.

There are some coins which are giving fast transactions and very low fees.  Trx , xrp, xlm and xvg are best coins for fastest transaction and lowest fees.

Safety comes first.

Speed it's essential for people trading and for short-term moves... but only in these moments, I would have to choose in such an easy conditional.

I definitely prefer security because even if your coins are in secrecy, being vulnerable to external threats means your money is stolen because if the door is open the thief can enter, so yobit binance and bitlo are reliable exchanges.
