If you had to choose between faster transaction time and security/privacy what would be your choice?

For me, security is number one. If you get hacked or lose your coins, the party is over. That said speed can be important for trading, so finding a balance is important.

I believe that security and privacy is quite important, and more so with harmful sites that can steal from us if that fails, because we can have speed in the transaction with cryptocurrency but it would not help you if in the end the funds are diverted or stolen from you for lack of security, so I will always choose security and privacy

If I have to choose between security and protection for my personal information and my money that I have labored to collect in exchange for the speed of transfer or withdrawal of money, then I will definitely choose high protection, but are we really obliged to this choice? I do not think so, there are many portfolios that provide us with protection and ease of transactions and this is a very beautiful thing.  There is a very important note, which is the personal responsibility to protect our information and money without complacency, and to activate all the measures required of us from those wallets to protect us more effectively.

As for me, security and privacy are more important than how fast the transaction is going. Of course, it would be perfect, if those can be combined, but if I to choose only 1, security and privacy is my priority

firstly all we need to insure the security and the  we can see that if the transaction is faster. if the security  low then what will we do with faster transaction as any time it may stolen.

For me it depends on how much money I use. If it's a small amount, I would prefer faster transaction time and if it's a big quantity, I would prefer safe transactions.

Hello friend, what a good point and topic you opened, this topic in the world of cryptocurrencies is very important since many times we find this decision and when it is like that I decide according to my level of need if I need speed then soko I'm going for what it is faster in your transactions and when I need security or privacy I choose the one that has that feature and is that sometimes we find a level of security that we must make the most of so that is why I direct my decision personally. Thank you very much for opening this topic in criptotalk friend, it is very interesting to know this in the world of cryptocurrencies.

I would choose security of course like others said. Waiting for some time is better than losing your all money and giving your personal information to others. I understand that many people became very impatient in the 21th century as everything has become very fast but little bit of time won't hurt nobody.

It's the scalability problem. Personally I prefer safety first and foremost, after all there is not much difference in speed if one does not mind waiting. In addition, I am confident that the most secure cryptos will improve speed as their technology evolves, bitcoin is on the way to that with lightning network.

Though delay transactions can be frustrating and faster transaction times can be very sweet but i will choose security/privacy coins over those with faster transaction times.

Obviously safety comes first. What is the speed of if in the end your data and your investment are not safe. That is why we must activate all the security protocols that they offer as something unavoidable.

Although it is very difficult to hack the crypto itself, so the obvious target will be us. They will look for gaps in security and hack the platform we use to store digital assets.

For me, the transaction time is not important, if it is not today it is tomorrow, in terms of security and privacy the matter is already different, I prefer to have privacy and security, transactions can take much longer as long as I have privacy.

Of course, I agree with your opinion, and thankfully, security above all, in fact the transaction may even take longer if you pay less fees!

In cryptocurrency transactions, security/privacy is paramount to me, without them the rest may not make sense. Especially when it comes to significant amounts. In such cases it is more reasonable to reduce the risks and to be patient and understanding about slow confirmations.

I prefer fast transactions. For this, I am using Litecoin. LTC transactions are fast and secure. So why we should choose beetwen fast or security transactions , when we can use LTC? LTC transactions are 4 times faster then BTC transactions.

In my case I prefer security, there are times when perhaps for some reason, you need an immediate transaction, but it is better to wait for a little before you can be the victim of any inconvenience and your funds disappear. Although the ideal platform must have a balance between security and speed, and today there are many, we have Yobt for example, and Binance, among others

I think security is far much important because when you look at what happens, the funds you have are really important and if you dont understand this its actually very important that you have security over fast transaction, I can actually wait for a few more moments for me and in the end this is going to be the best thing that happens so to me sucurity first

Obviously the transactions must be secure, no one wants to lose, there are exchange houses that promise the transaction in a certain time and after many confirmations it is that the money arrives, In the case of Venezuela that the transactions are delayed n day you run the risk of lose due to the devaluation of the currency

Always when it comes to electronic money, security is paramount. It is necessary to have several security measures, such as binance and yobit, which use the 6-digit google authenticator. Speed is important but takes a backseat when your money can be stolen by a hacker. When there is good security and privacy, speed takes a backseat.

If I had to choose between fast transaction and privacy I would had choose privacy because the transaction may get late but if your privacy exposed to public it can causes serious lost

I think I would build privacy because it can also offer me speed and security. Speed because although currently some transactions may be slow, as technology develops more, this aspect and security will improve because the less they have access to my movements the safer I am, I only have to worry about practicing the established security protocols well.
