this is a nice question for all of those traders that are a bit more new to the ecosystem, try to remember that the number one advice is to only trade with money you dont personally need, money that is not fixed to your rent or to your groceries, because it can happen that the money is in the middle of a trade or is frozen so its better to see it as separated from your economy. the other top advice would be to minimize transaction costs, they tend to go very up depending on some coins, like eth, so try to condense your money moves in the few number of operations possible, in that way you are saving in unnecesary movements.

I'm agree, this is the simplest principle to follow. Before following it, studying the project, the evolution of prices through months and even years, and some basic charting should be a MUST for anyone to become a beginner trader in the crypto world.
