It would be difficult not to provide your identity to some websites as their rules are very stringent concerning double accounts and scammers. Providing your ID helps them in limiting these inadequacies from people who may not want to abide by the rules and regulations.

@Cammer You're absolutely right friend. Providing the personal details, or identity or any kinds of documents including passport, driving license, national id-card, voter id or any kind of statement bills(bank/water usage, telephone) may not be good, just because the information you provide might be using by any third-parties, or your personal information can be sold to any other unauthorized groups, companies or even by hackers for their personal profit and business motives. So, we must be very careful before submitting our information online, and do research whether the given website or the service platform is worthy or not, if that's new and you find something suspicious you just need to be safe from those sites and never provide your information for any lucrative offers like airdrops, bounties, lotteries and more.

@Cammer dear you are right. You know a days we are receiving a lot mails and messages that withdraw you money without fee and mostly messages was about bonus.

We must avoid from these sites. If you want to engage in those sites first got a complete information about that.

Always it is good to provide your identity only to trusted exchanges, and don't send your personal information to shady exchanges or airdrops. If you share your identity data in airdrops for example then you risks your data for a few dollars, and your identity might be used for criminal purposes.

Yeah this is really very risky for us because bad guys sell our information in dark web and then it is used to do many illegal activities. We can be trapped by these. So we should stay away from providing our KYC for a few valueless coins in cheap airdrops. A good project will never want you to complete your kyc.
