monero Why is Monero so forgotten?

When my cumpadre and I started trading in digital currencies, whether it was airdrops or buying coins, or whatever it is, I remember my cumpadre buying Monero and mining Monero, that year I don't remember precisely the year, the monero was up, excitement washed over my cumpadre who just wanted to know about Monero. But then Monero started to fall and since then has not heard a substantial recovery. But because Monero has suffered so many negative changes in its market value and even in the sense of being remembered in the cryptographic environment, if anyone has an opinion or even the reason for such stagnation and wants to share here they will be doing a great service to the cryptographic environment. - and me, because I myself didn't understand until now why this lag. there is less inovation in monero, also their team not active like others coin. i'm not sure about this to, but for me, monero already dead. i'm in twitter almost 6 hours everyday, and yes, i never know or atleast no one talk about monero right now. idk why

After genesis mining stopped its feature . Monero got back so much.

It is not having proper marketing strategies and it transactions takes so long time compared to others .

There is no more active traders.

No new projects news or developed feature and its the main reason why its forgotten.

But it looked promising, I remember people commenting that Monero would be the currency of the future or the darling currency of crypto-enthusiasts. But for all that you mentioned, it makes sense even for Monero to fall by the wayside. thanks!!

Lot of exchanges started delisting Monero, and that may be one of the reasons.
Monero is best privacy based coin, but looks like people don't care much about privacy 😕

If you hold it try to change it to some other coin  rather loosing more you can just gain in some other coin which have good projects which are so active . always welcome  i research more regarding all coins which helps me to gain more idea how crypto moves on.

Yes, I do that too. Research is fundamental so we can know well the project in which we will participate. And as for Monero I have nothing, my cumpadre is that I really liked this coin as soon as we started in this market. Now neither does he want to know more about Monero, as he has lost money and time.

I think because privacy coin is no longer trend, and no good marketing team on monero, its an old coin and may be have large community but when its not have good development its can left by newcomer like zecash

Yes, I heard that, but like you said, that privacy wasn't enough to leverage Monero. A pity it was among the major currencies, now it is among the most devalued.

Falling prices does not mean that XMR will fall to zero. This coin is a cryptocurrency worthy of attention for investors who want to invest long-term. Monero will recover if the market enters a bullish trend. It might rise higher, if fundamentals become the driving force for the next bull trend.

I think nobody can crack and track Monero and that is why we see that regime in USA don't like it.
You can see that Dash has no problems, and I thinkl they figured it out how to track people transaction there.

Monero is a very good currency, it is not forgotten. Whoever used the currency will still use the currency. The price is low now, but most coins are low price.

You can see monero as forgotten, but I promise you it is widely used in criminal activities in this crypto world than any other coin out there. It has low volume because it is not used in trading much.

I do not see it that way your topic stated, one thing about any business is that there should be marketing, I see monero need marketing, If they can engage in some reformation and it will come into the lime light again, just as the way it was in 2017/2018.

Monero is a good coin but yes i agree with you that monero team is not active and its now its price is so much low now because its transaction is so much slow and also it is going regularly down at first its price is so much good like high than the other ALT coins in the crypto market.

i think with monero its like about being forgotten and more about it being always the coin that is highly used only in the dark web which gave it a bad reputation among traders and also new exchanges.

I also see at that time, 2-3 years ago a lot of people talk about monero and mine it with GPU, and now no one talk more about it, i think yes can be a reason because is a privacy coin and some governments start banning crypto. but there are also some coins who not pretend to be privacy but they look like are privacy and can't see how much coins was sent and to what address.

It is not only the Monero  coin that has been forgotten, 90 percent of the currencies in the crypto market have been exposed to the same fate, but it is the project's dat and the big team that will recover in the future.

I am also investing in monero and i hope soon monero will go up because still the value of the monero is good not like the first time when it will make a bull but its value will not come down like before because in crypto market so many coins are almost dead and this is not good.

As to why monero is down right now, keep in mind that the entire market got hammered in the time period between 2017-present, so it isn't surprising that a good coin like that is so cheap.  There are a lot of good coins selling for a fraction of what they were going for 2 years ago (which is why now is the time to be buying).

 

Monero is an excellent altcoin as far as privacy goes, but that feature tends to to underappreciated by investors and the market in general.  I'm not exactly sure why that is, but it's unfortunate.

I don't think Monero is forgotten, the team behind it is actually very active, especially in combatting ASICs and making sure that Monero belongs to individual miners instead of corporations and companies. The thing is that almost all coins are down, not just Monero. Monero is very much alive!

Yeah maybe but i think the other reason why monero is forgotten because most of the investors and holders of it give up their monero during the time it was delisted on other exchanges.
