Editing your own topic takes too much time

I have not problem when editing and it doesn't take too much time, maybe this was something happening in the past when this post was created but for me I have found the forum to be very fast, have no bugs at all and one of the most advanced forums in terms of options and features available to the users. Maybe this was a bug that was fixed and now everything is working perfectly for me at least.

I agree, if you need to edit, then it is not convenient to wait, but if you remove this timeout, then there will be a load on the server and a lot of flood topics

OK, well I have never faced this problem ever, when I'm posting my comments I had check before posting it. Reread the comments and then after that Im posting. I think we must recheck our comments before posting. 

And you guys said that it's take time to edit as the forum rules it's will take 3 minutes to post comments. It's the time interval between posting comments. So I think it's quite normal for taking some time to edit. 

For avoiding this issue recheck before posting comments.

I don't think that those who publish in this forum, publish for the sake of publishing, however we are not perfect, and from those small mistakes we must learn quickly because in the forum they are not going to let you make many continuous mistakes so there are warning points.

Actually I write and post my posts and comments and I don't receive any warnings. But what I would like to tell you is that you have time to post the right topics out of typos according to the cryptotalk forum rules.

I am not see any of a problem like that but this mean that if this was a problem when the good member made this post then this is corrected and we are now in a very better forum with less problems. I am very happy to see if this problem was corrected that the forum is taking the good advice the member here are giving.

I understand you have this problem and it does not allow you to edit the post but you have to wait for some time before it is saved. I don't find it very bad problem and maybe it is set so that you can edit the post and take time to review all of it and correct all the mistakes.

Yes.It's same to all.When you posted a topic and meanwhile you wanted to edit it again,but you won't be able to do that.it will show you warning.You need to wait minimum three minutes after you posted the topic to edit it.and if it removes,it will be really good.

I have seen this and it happens as you have said, but after the first time we edit this is not appear again so maybe it is given only to the first edit to correct all our mistakes we spoted. But it is not needed and I agree since we edit the post there isn't need for this time limie there.

I think this issue has been resolved for now.

I recently edited one of my topic by just few seconds and the warning did not pop out. (Date check: Oct. 8,2020)

I don't have this issue. I can edit my comments and have no problem. It does that when I edit and it doesn't need more time for me. I am new though and don't know what happens to others, maybe it is an issue for some members but not for me. Sorry this is a problem you have to deal with and maybe contact support.

There is a set time to post a comment after commenting on another topic. But to avoid having to edit, dedicate a little more time and pay attention to what you were writing and if necessary check more than once to avoid wasting time later.

Well the truth is that I have not had that problem. In fact, on several occasions I have had to edit my publications and I have been able to do it without having to wait. I think that it has been changed. So, we should not wait to make the necessary changes in our publications. Greetings.

Personally I think that the configuration that the platform already brings is excellent, what you comment about the problem you have I do not think is alarming, I consider that it is good because this way it prevents fraudulent people from using the forum in an inappropriate way.

I have not dealt with the same problem like that because i don't have to correct after i have posted my comments because i go through before i post any comment may be this will be the best way to correct your errors

Always try not to make errors. While writing itself analyse the content enough that it need not be edited after publishing. There is chance that they show a waiting time just after you posted and then you would want to edit. Be careful on this. Try to be more cautious about this. You don't have to edit if you are careful enough.

 Its not like so as you mean because i had edited my topic many time but i didnt face any probelm always.. Yah sometimes you can face problem only when you going to change whole explanation of your topic.. Also the hcaptcha make trouble sometimes if you have bad network in your phone or pc..  But this problem is not much hard to passed.. I think the best thing we can do is to avoid making mistakes as much as possible. We should re-read the post before posting it to make sure that there are no errors. This is best instead of wasting your time and waiting for a cooldown.

Well, I haven't come across this problem, but I have similar concern on posting the contents or the post replies, as I click on submit the website goes down and even if I do refresh it, I lost all my texts, that I had previously written. I am not sure what has caused this, but I can assure it's pretty boring to get your writings erased, and all you have to try writing from the beginning, which seems not practical and it keeps me demotivated to post stuffs if its happening repeatedly.

I haven't come across this type of issue before because I usually go through my post before posting it. So I haven't come across editing my work after posting it.

@johant123 I think is not thesame with everyone, perhaps it must be due to network issues or other issues related to the internet, I have been editing my post for quite some time now and I haven't experienced such issues
