You may be right, mate but I tend to disagree with these views. A tendency seems to exist to react positively to all topics, regardless the quality of the content, which can prove your ideas right, meaning we can create 50 mediocre daily topics and receive good reactions overall. However, in my humble opinion, this should not be like this, and we would have to rate both topics and comments strictly based on the quality we perceive in the content.

But in my opinion if topics are useless you can not get reputation regardless of the fact that how much topics you create at this forum. The more positive reputation is highly dependent upon the Quality of topics and amount of information provided in a topic. More the information more the reputation. I think the reason for this is that the topic is seen by most of the members, and if it is useful, they will read it and then interact with it. As for the comments, they are viewed by a limited number of members, so it does not have many interactions, even if they are distinctive.

Yeah, that is also what I notice, well that's what it should be because the topic started the conversation but that is not enough, we should still read the topic and decide if that is worth giving reputation. Some good commenters can give more well-explained information than the one who created the topic.
