I have been in this forum for few days and so far I have loved it. Being a new forum clearly there are many things could be rectified and that could encourage people taking parts of different other topics with personal opinion and experience shared.

One of the problem I have disclosed so far and that I didn't personally like, was the fact that people could not be happy about your comment and flag you. I wrote a personal opinion regarding a topic I read and I have expressed my concerned due to personal past experiences. The person became rude and start flagging me clearly with no reason and in this way I have lost reputation... that I have honestly accrued during my blogging experience.

Is the same problem happened to you? What do you think would be a way to improve the service? Do you know after how many flags you will be "muted"???

I share the same experience like you, I got a "dislike" from someone which didn't participated in the discussion, and my comment was not even against the initiator or something like this. I think he gave me the "dislike" only because he could..

I didn't knew that you will get muted if your reputation is dropping or you get a certain number of "dislikes" can any admin/moderator make some light into this matter please?

well your reputation could become Red... so instead of having a + with a number you can get a red colour with a - in it. It isn't cool to receive it and after that he stopped commenting in a rude way... I don't know if he became muted or stopped flagging me... not sure!

If you think that someone is abusing dislikes on the forum or in relation to you, write to the moderators, we will figure it out, but only if you are 100% sure of the violation

If a violation is discovered, your reputation will be restored.

I think the Like and Dislike system will be reworked. New users and users with a low rank will not be able to put it, while for others the number will be limited depending on the rank.

i kinda dont like the flagging thing and i saw this problem in steemit where people who didnt like each other started flagging each other, this should be discouraged or have a precedure where one can appeal , lets not go the way of steemit, it will kill morale

A lot users are misusing the flag/reactions, I mean you don't have to agree with my opinion but that doesn't it should flagged or considered a spam post by you. I think the dislike/spam reaction alone should be removed, while the like or useful reaction should remain.

Hi Thanks for replying. Well a person was rude otherwise I wasn't replying in this way. I have respect for anyone until they don't respect me. This is the way I am in real life and the same thing is done online. The post in question is this and I was saying to be extra care regarding pages that are proposing Airdrops because for personal experiences I haven't been receiving any airdrop after having completed different tasks. Then I specified I don't know this project but in general keep an eye on it. Warning on general problems doesn't mean the topic he is discussing is a fake one and/or I haven't been rude and off topic I think.

this is exactly what I thought! People should be allowed to flag only if they have a good reputation as you do! I don't mind of getting back my reputation but I want to be sure that if I have to lose mine it has to be for a good reason. I am not writing here every day 30 posts for gaining the satoshi... I am actually enjoying the forum and you can see... I have been here since 5 days or 6 and I would have reached a way higher number of comments if I was looking for rewards!

I think mostly member does not know how to react to post and they wrong emoji while giving a react on a post. I think there should be two buttons in every post one is green and one is red. One show for like and one show for dislike. There are most type in newbies that don't know how to use forums. And some haters do wrong react because they are feeling hate if someone going ahead to them so its not fair. If post is genuine and someone hater show hate then its totally unfair 😞

indeed! It seems that people are abusing of the system that's why I was writing this post to be sure it wasn't only my impression and to highlight the potential problem this might incur in the platform.. having friends or multi accounts flagging good writers that will leave the platform (I am not including myself in the good writers but at least I read every posts before commenting).

I will share public that, I report that posts and send message to moderator with all details too.

I get this emoji (spam or bad post) just because I give to this member same emoji because what he write like comparison, when you open post you can see my post and what I "quote" from his post (what he write).

His post is deleted, but emoji is remained.

From today

In this (my) topic I try to help people to write clean and to not break forum rule, I clean write that if I do something wrong I will delete post (or moderator will delete). And person who give me this emoji write this post

His comment "this is the google translation", I write to him comment below with all details where to see what I'm talking about and give to him same emoji. He did not understand my topic and he give me that emoji.

Again, I report both post and send all info to moderator.

wait a second... The topic was related to a coin/token and I have seen many people here asking for help. I thought he was asking advices and I felt my comment was constructive and not spamming. Considering it was wrong I have created this content asking your opinion about it. I am not accusing anyone but instead I am asking the public opinion in order to better assess the situation and if I was wrong then I will have to apologise. 

If you see someone asking opinion about projects in general... like there are people asking to invest money in cloud minings or buying BTC for a daily interest etc... you comment giving your opinion. Mine a share of info saying I don't know the project but I have been scammed in the past with Airdrop related projects. If this is a mistake sharing my personal opinion then I will definitely apologise!

I know the feeling buddy! For the time spent writing this post and the topic and all the attachment I do consider you deserve a heart from me! Sorry about that it is not nice when this happen and I felt bad to loose reputation once I do read and comment with personal opinion due to my small experience what I think about any topic.

it is actually going the same way. I am on Steemit too and I do have one or two minnows that are flagging just because they want to do it. I don't mind as my voting power/SP is way higher but it is a shame those accounts are actually existing.

oh man ... it is something against you. Probably yes you are right and you need to inform whoever is above than us that there is a flagging war in action. This might help you out getting your reputation back.

well all you need to do is keep writing and writing good contents. Spending time reading other topics and replying. People thinks that it is against the rules sharing their opinion on a particular subject or something similar to it.

I know what do you feel man, i also experienced that yesterday. There is a guy that i'm trying to help but he give me "Spam or Bad post" reaction the crying face. he even look at my post and give the reaction to 4 of my posts.

Great to hear that you guys are thinking of some better way to use reactions and rating system!

Remember to minimize people ability to abuse both reactions good and bad.

Maybe count reactions only for specific post and not count them all together,
something like post rating

If someone think that I do something wrong free write here or report to admin and moderator.

I will suggest to make the spam warning only working for the moderators and just give another sad face or other logo and let the users put when they dont like the post of a particular user.

The Heart can be use by anyone as it is a good reputation.

Put sad face as a dislike of the post.

Have the moderator a red flag logo which they can only use to flag the spammer!

Disliking should be removed. Fair and simple. It is not because I too receive them, no. I give them occasionally too and I still don't like them. If you don't like somebody you can just ignore him. But giving him dislikes will encourage him not to post anymore. It is basically censorship and I can't agree with that.

Like and dislike is part of life and race . Just try to refrain and move out of it i know you will be feeling bad when you are targeted alone ,🙂

if you feel some of your opinion is hurting others try to avoid that when other are going to attack you. Have a talk with moderators and try to solve it or else both will end up in loosing reputation back to back and get muted 🙂

Its in your hand how to handle and move this situation.

buddy you didn't understand what I meant. Sadly it isn't easy to understand the intention of someone only through a chat/forum. Mine was a genuine comment in relation to my past experience and I felt I was doing the right thing warning about how other projects scammed me with fake airdrops. Instead of thinking I wanted to spam or gain the 1000 satoshi start listening what I am telling you. If I knew all this was happening, I was even ignoring his topic. 

1000 Satoshi are 8 cents... I am a Veterinarian in UK in real life... I am here only for fun and because i like reading crypto stuff... do you really think I will spam for 8 cents of dollars? Seriously? 

A medal has always 2 faces.. instead of thinking bad of me... try to understand my intention!
