To me, and as a newbie that I am,  I think investments is the major determinants of the prices of bitcoin in market. The more people invest, the more the price tends to rise. Prices fall are most of the times caused by panic selling.

No way. Cryptocurrency is a big investment. Therefore, investments do not affect cryptocurrency at all. It is possible that only large investments from whales can somehow affect and affect the price.
