Which one gives more reputation, creating a topic or making comments?

Of course, in a good post you will get more reputation, than commenting. Because everyone reads the post. But it is not possible to read all the comments differently. So reputation is less available. But everyone is attracted to a good post. So we should make posts on important topics.

Both things are separate and both are important. If lots of people comments on your created question you gain good reputation, but if people likes your comment on post then you gain reputation. It is up to you what task you do better.

In my opinion, creating constructive topics will buy you more ratings rather than single comment. Obviously, comments are also a source of getting more reputation, but they cannot give you ratings more than topics. So brother, I recommend you to create important topics. But you must include essential content in your topics otherwise your topic will not attract members.

I think writing comments is more useful than creating topics. Because if it turns out that you created a topic but you could not analyze that topic. But if you reply to a topic and do a nice analysis there, then everyone will benefit from reading that analysis and if you benefit, they will definitely give you a good reputation, so I think it is better to give a reply to the topic.

Creating your own topic will definitely give you rapid increase in reputation than writing comments. If you look at the past post, there are many ratings on the post then the other individual comments. You can get more notoriety when creating topics, however, there are many opportunities to lower the topic if it is not considered useful by the moderators, in addition there are grammatical or other graphic errors that may be a reason to be deleted.
