According to coinMarketCap the total numbers of cryptocurrencies is 6,955 with a total market cap of $324.716 billion (as of September 9 2020). How many cryptocurrencies do you know among the 6,955 cryptocurrencies? For me I dont know much, How many do you know?

There are a lot of these currencies and I know of them Btc and eth and a lot of them, but not all currencies are desirable or of great importance for trading. You have a good, very good and excellent one.

I'm new here i have never imagine that there are this much crypto currency, the only crypto currencies i know is not that much. The only  cryptocurrencies I know are not much. Bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, dron and others.

About a hundred. And i have operated on these currencies on crypto exchanges with about 30 of them. But to be honest a huge percentage of these currencies is just a fiction. They are worth nothing and their trade value is approximately equal to zero.

According to my search in internet o was very surprised to know that we have more than thousands of cryptocurrency from their I was contemplating if they are not helping in spoiling the market for crypto currency to rise up as A1 currency

Wow, very useful post a good information you have shared with us. Thanks for posting it. I can never imagine that cryptocurrency number will be increased much higher like that. Their number in 2018 was more than 1500 correct me if I'm wrong. New currency will increase more because their fame is increasing day by day. I know about some of them like bitcoin, ETH, LTC, doge coin, TRX, Waves, dash and talk token of this forum.

Well a few years ago it was there only two coins BTC and ETH but today there is thousands of coins

we can not rely to coinmarketap to count the number of coins because there is many coins didn't

listed there i think there is more then 10000 coins in crypto world

I don’t know the exact number but there are about 6000+ coins and tokens in crypto currency world. Some of them are listed and some of them are delisted or waiting for listing. There are a lot of coins are entering in crypto currency day by day. So it is quite impossible to count them

Wow so you mean talk token is also a cryptocurrency,  this is very surprising I never knew talk token is  a cryptocurrency,  that's why we are not earning alone  in this forum we are also gaining a lots knowledge here too.

There are many crypto currency in the world but not all of them are used for trading, the ones that are used for trading are the old ones that have good value in market and also the the important ones are used for trading.

I don't know the exact number of the cryptocurrenies but I am sure that there are more than 3000 cryptocurrenies which can be mine able. I am sure that there is more than 6000 cryptocurrenies in total.

I personally know a few and popular cryptocurrency because they're the ones that has value. Some cryptocurrency are counted but it doesn't have value. But there are many things you can do if you found a underrated good coin.

Well as a beginner, you should read first some altcoins in cryptocurrency to know them more deeply, there's a lot of underrated or dead coins because no one's support it by having a useless value.

I don't know their exact number, but there are over 5000 cryptocurrencies. This is really too much. It is very difficult to understand exactly what other than the most popular ones do. I wonder what they are doing other than creating an economic frenzy. I think I have a lot to learn.

I will agree with you buddy! there are just having an altcoins which is used because of it's popularity like ripple, ethereum etc. we should avoid to have some dead coins because we cannot benefit from it, it's just a waste of time.

Your'e right we can estimate how many cryptocurrencies we have in digital because of a lot coins showing in market, so we should be wise on choosing in trading and investing because some of the coins have not really legit and for the scam only don't be manipulate on their platforms even they say they are good for making a profit. Popular coins and well know is probable in our success than others

The important thing is not the number of digital currencies that you know because many of them are fraudulent currencies, so always when you know a currency you must analyze and study it well so that you do not lose it because what is important is your knowledge of the real currencies with a clear project and stay away from fraudulent currencies.

There are numerous cryptocurrency available in the crypto market but most are not popular and has lost its  value.bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency in the world. Ethereum is also a crypto asset with alot of prospect.

Good question you have asked. I usually try to follow the top 10 or 15 coins. Since there are so many coins nowadays, you can drive yourself crazy by keeping tabs on everything that comes out on a daily basis. But, I am keeping tabs on the new DEFI coins related to ETH & ERC 20. They might just be the next profitable coins to invest in. Before buying any new coin, always make sure to read the White Papers related to the coin. The White Papers should stipulate all the important info related to the new coin. Very important, the White Papers are.
