Bitmex Exchange is KYC Activation Required Or Not? Please Help.

Recommended Posts

Hi friends
I would like to register for Bitmex.com exchange but I don't know if KYC activation is required or not, because I hate KYC and I do not want to register on the KYC exchange. And I don't know if KYC is required in the Bitmex.com exchange, so I request those who are registered in this exchange and withdraw from it to tell me the truth, is KYC activation required or not.
thank you

Whether or not you get kyc on bitmex depends on the country you use to sign up with. So if you are having issues then this may be why. Also they reserve the right to ask for identity if they feel something is suspicious, but mostly you will never have this happen unless you are risking large amounts. Bitmex is one of the best places to trade that doesn't have strict kyc.

Bitmex does not require KYC, you can trade immediately you sign up, in which they accept only bitcoin as deposit but you can trade with eth

Thanks my friend but you sure that Bitmex does not require KYC, So this is very great but it surprised me that it does not accept deposits to bitcoin. Why? Are there no currencies other than Bitcoin in the exchange?

If you are in one of the countries that they listed as restricted from using their website you should do kyc and if you're not in one of those countries you will be fine and wouldn't be asked for kyc, and make sure you're not using any ips from those countries accessing bitmex too.

Not exactly. Bitmex does not require KYC. Perhaps you are mistaken with Bittrex exchange. Bitmex does not allow US Citizens and does not demand to sent any documents. It is based in Seychelles and there is no law that affects it there, besides the total ban of US citizens from trading on it. Still quite a few are trading there through vpn servers.

I think bitmex should use kyc, I strongly avoid exchanging using kyc, because it makes me unreliable, I prefer yobit or binance exchanges that don't require kyc.

Yes you are right also I dont agree with those website who ask KYC  we dont know what they will do with our data?

i think according to the new rules they should not keep those data in servers that might be hacked but they still need to ask for kyc for government and security reasons.

If you are in one of the international locations that they listed as restricted from the usage of their internet site you ought to do kyc and if you are no longer in one of these nations you will be pleasant and wouldn't be requested for kyc, and make sure you are not the usage of any ips from those international locations accessing bitmex too

This is fine, but I have to know which countries or places are exchanges restricted and request to activate KYC? Is there a list on the site about those prohibited countries?

Of course not, I dont know where you heard about that?

You could simple to sign up on Bitmex and you will see, or simple research on internet about that you should not to create topic about that.

Thank you, in fact, I did not hear about it from anyone, but it is just a guess because I tried to register in the exchange. They gave me a message that my country is prohibited and I thought to register via a proxy and so I want to know if they will ask me for KYC or not. This is the story, my friend.

My freind you must do kyc for your own risk,it will protect you.and you will not receive bmex tokens without. Thank you for sharing this information.

Thank you for the advice, but in general I do not prefer the exchanges that require KYC. The main problem is that I am from a prohibited country and this is a problem that I suffer from in most of the exchanges because of my presence in this country. Although I am not guilty, my transactions are all legal.

I don't use exchange requiring for kyc first before you can able to trade to their platform, or asking for deposit first that exchange is a scammer for me. Because those platform like binance and kucoin are both not asking that rules for the new users.

True, binance and kucoin are both not asking KYC  from users although they are the most important exchanges. I personally do not like or believe in KYC in the Crypto world. This world is based on anonymity, so why are they asking for KYC?

I do not know why this  distinction and this prohibition by some exchanges of some countries, if the governments of these countries have committed violations according to their opinion, then what is the guilt of the people that live in these countries. In fact, in this way ordinary people, not governments, are punished.

Yes, I know that Bitmax is one of the excellent exchanges and therefore I want to register there, but I am afraid that they will ask for KYC after registering and it will block me and lose my money.

If you are in one of the countries that they programmed as classified from via their website you must fix kyc and if you're not in one of individuals countries you will be subtle and wouldn't be asked for kyc, and be clear in your mind you're not via any ips from folks countries accessing bitmex too.

What is this strange contradiction, how do they put some countries on the ban list and then demand that they prove kyc? If they are basically banning me then how will I give them KYC ?? !!! I think this is too stupid for the exchange.

You can trade with kyc and also without kyc.

If you are a regular trader then you should complete kyc.

but if you temporary trader then you can leave kyc

Why is this hateful distinction between countries, what good people who live in this prohibited country have sinned. This is totally unfair and this is what I hate the most in the financial world. I expected this to change after the emergence of crypto, but unfortunately this abhorrent thing seems to have remained the same.
