@Raqeebzy mnemonic phrase and seed phrase are the same thing, it is also can be called recovery seed or recovery phrase.

If you you back up your seed phrase, make sure you remember the passphrase used for protecting the seed phrase, and it is not advisable to back up the passphrase on the same paper you back up the seed phrase.

Nice one, instead, it will be good not to use passphrase because if back up on the same paper, it is the same thing. So, I will advise someone to use a passphrase numbers and words that can be easily remembered.

@BitcryptoHan you meant passphrase not password, this needs correction. You are right, it is good to back up the passphrase and the seed phrase in different locations.

Yes, I meant passphrase, I have corrected it, thank you so much. Passphrase is optional but very good because it encrypts the seed phrase. This is a good feature of hd wallets.

Some sites says passphrase encrypts seed phrase but while I saw on some sites that it protects the seed phrase, I think protecting seed phrase is the right as I have read it from mastering bitcoin.

Even if the wallets do not use this method to raise the level of security, there are many more simple and good ways to raise the level of security since it is sufficient that we use two layers of passwords with email addresses (primary and alternative) or add the feature of the mobile phone number to the wallet

I think there isn't all wallets who provide this Kind of security ( import wallets ) . this is well and good if we backup all things realted to our wallet .

I always Keep security key at safe place because this is only medium to recover our wallet .

BIP39 is a Bitcoin standard which is used to recover your wallets. It supports an optional passphrase that encrypts seed words and create a master private key for every possible passphrase. Coinomi and blockchain wallet uses this  BIP39 standard.

@Jessica Karren You are right, for everything seed phrase, a new private key is generated from 132 to 256 bits of entropy. These makes the seeds or private keys to be protected.

You are wrong, the process of the passphrase generation is called salt, and to everything passphrase used, new private keys will be generated.

This is a very good advance in security. Especially with the fact that these phrases are randomly generated words and are therefore almost impossible to guess. Wallets that offer this feature are definitely offering a better sense of security and recovery, however the key to using such a wallet lies in finding the best place in which to store this phrase so that nobody finds the phrase and so that it is easily accessible to you when you may need it.

Although, seed phrase are randomly generated words, but not all the words are truly generated randomly, the last world generated in a 12 word seeds phrase contain one word which is a checksum and not entropy that is generated randomly. 

Also know that passphrases are not words but are characters. And lastly, to every passphrase developed from a seed, there will always generation of new seeds.

This information is very valuable, we must make sure to save the seed of the wallets because after so much work to obtain our coins or see invested in them. and lose everything all of a sudden, it is tragic, it is essential to backup all data

BIP39 code is umused to recover wallets like trust wallet  I do not have much information  about it but I have learned about it because of people reading comments.
