There is no exact time for the halving to last for, only can change the system of the market and immediately after it the market will return to it normal state before the halving.

I think the process is automatic. Nobody seems to know the duration of the halving period. But till now the halving is beneficial to the Bitcoin holders and investors.

The total number of halving is 33 and so far it has occurred 3 and the remaining 30, halving occurs once every four years, and then the equivalents of the two miners will be halved, and the next halving will be in 2024

It is a code that executes, probably takes a few seconds for all nodes to be synchronized and have validated the block where the halving happens and the payment for miners is less. This block would already have the half coinbase from the previous one as the miners have to follow the consensus rules otherwise it will not be valid and excluded from the blockchain.

I have found recently that Bitcoin has this halving event and it lasts for four years. Not exactly four years but less than that, it depends on the numbers of the blocks added to the blockchain. And every time it happens, the new bitcoin are reduced by half.

@basel23 your information was very helpful for me. I did not know there will be another 33 halving. It makes a great timeframe for Bitcoin to be perfect after the last halving occurs.

That is, the event itself (the halving) doesn't last at all, since it occurs in a specific block and then the reward for mining Bitcoin is reduced. Bitcoin has been halving for four years.  When Bitcoin is halving, the price of Bitcoin goes down.  But it's time for Bitcoin Halving.  Now the price of Bitcoin is much better.  When Bitcoin's halving is over, the price of Bitcoin starts pumping again.

I didn't understand exactly friend. Before the halving price goes down? For how long can this happen? I have seen that afte the halving price went up a lot since we are 4 times higher now. So perhaps this stops but we are still three years away from the next halving. Is it possible that the first two years are great for prices and then the two last years before the next halving are always bad and Bitcoin is losing price?

dude nobody can predict the accurate duration of Bitcoin halving people are withdrawing their investment and price goes down but nowadays the value of Bitcoin is very much higher or more people showing their interest and investments in it.

Sorry, Bitcoin's halving already happened on May 11, 2020.  The price of Bitcoin has been rising since Halving.  Bitcoin has many large investors.  So now I think the price of Bitcoin will go up more.  So we need to hold on to bitcoin.
