I didn't see any good ways that an altcoin could grow a higher price without bitcoin rising. So coins are still dependent on the main coin of crypto world. Some are more, and some are less. Without a Bitcoin bull run there isn't any altcoin rally or altcoin season. However everything is possible in crypto space and right predict here is always difficult.

I know this topic is old and  I think eight months before also altcoins prices not increase, some members predicts 2020 middle altcoins prices increase, but unfortunately in this year we can't see any altcoin session, I don't no exactly what the reason behind but I think corona pendamic one of the reason, hope 2020 year ending we see altcoin session.

May be after few months to come on the track. Cause most of them are dead, it will take may be a long time to back to the track. But hopefully alt will comeback to the soon.

We all know that most of the altcoins depend on market value of bitcoin to survive but I don't think bitcoin will go bearish this season due to it potential in the market and for that reason I think the likes of ethereum, litecoin and xrp will be good for investment for future. Well in this time, the price of altcoins are just stable like ethereum and ripple, ethereum shows some good price by being stable at $280 and it's because for Bitcoin for being stable it's price on $9500 to $9600, i hope this will be stable for this month and being dominant in this coming months.

The best time for an altcoin to actually develop and to thrive in the market is when there is a downward spiral for bitcoin, as it will result in many people looking towards altcoins as their crypto of choice by which to make profit. Naturally though there are currently many altcoins that do co-exist with bitcoin and some are even doing quite well including ethereum, litecoin and some of the bitcoin based altcoins such as bitcoin cash. Personally i do not think that there will ever be an end to altcoins, mainly because there will always be someone trying to create their own crypto and as a result this will always result in many altcoins existing in the market.

Yes, I do believe in new altcoins which have good growth and I believe it will be a good choice for those who like strong growth. If you choose to develop altcoins, you will earn. much from it

While we are in an altcoin season right now probably because of DeFi but I don't think this will last for too long. DeFi will certainly have problems at some point as their structure is similar to ponzi schemes and when users begin withdrawing massively there will be liquidity issues.

Well based on my personal opinion, prediction I will answer this question by saying, it will take a long period of time for altcoins to suppress BTC . Because BTC has already dominate the world of crypto currency been it the first, most expensive, valuable and top leading coin at the capital market

There are a good number of altcoins which are dependent on the market value of bitcoin before they also rise and looking at the price of bitcoin at the moment will let you know that many coins are down in the market and I think it is the best time to invest more into our wallets because sooner or later bitcoin will rise higher and there will be good opportunity to earn profit to our various accounts. Altcoin will rise in price, because bitcoin's algorithm is quite deprecated. In one moment people will understand that bitcoin is not as good as Litecoin and Ethereum and they will sell BTC and buy altcoins.

Yes, altcoin season happens every year, main rule is buy low, sell high..i donot prefer to hold altcoins for long time, sell always when they pump because with time they lose value

Altcoin session will happen if domination of bitcoin decrease but marketcap increase, you can see on coinmarketcap that bitcoin domination is above60percent, i think alt will recovery when bitcoin more stable.

I don't think we can say that the altcoin season has come exactly. Yes, some altcoins are on the rise. But still, Bitcoin didn't earn as much as the Ethereum pair did. However, I think the subcoin season will come in a very short time.

well i think the problem is with people who want to see the whole altcoin market to go pump mode like it did in 2017, that is highly not going to happen with the growing market, but coins will pump individually throught the year like how LINK DGB and XTZ did this year.
