In my opinion I don't think there's an extra reward given to a post that goes viral,but one thing I know for sure is that when your post goes viral you're likely to get many reputations which will determine the money you'll get at the end

Hello dear. If a post of a person goes viral he will recieve more reputations 😜  and his post will get paid. More and more people will follow you and but that you will get followers here. It will be very profitable for you.

Your topic going viral has no effect on your earning but it can result in gaining you a lot of positive reputation which is also a key to unlock your earnings. Going a topics viral will surely get you as many reputation points as you can get normally in a week. So don't think that if it isn't giving you money it is of use of going viral because it still give you reputation.
