I would say that if you share your public key with someone you can get money from that person if you want to send you the money and if you share your private key they can access your account and get all of your money

Not even think this should be direct statement a member will be hacked or scammed if he failed to secure the privacy of the personal or private keys. This is the most sensitive keys that you can't share with anyone no matter what he claims to be to protect you currency from loosing. But public keys is for receiving payment by withdrawal in exchange sites

Thanks alot for sharing this insight in this forum, some of us are new around and don't even know the difference. But as you have discussed above I will try as much as possible to take notes of the difference and keep both keys secured.

I didnot knew about public key back tgen.Thanks for this topic I now understand what is public key.It will help to to transect more freely as before i thought is was risky.And privat is is like a backup password of your wallet that you can use it to recover your forgotten password.
