Actually you can easily determine the topic if you already posted it. If the speech bubble are color white, it means you are not yet done posting on it and if you fint the speech bubble color black, it means you already posted to it,it's really simple.

As of now there's no assistant on telling if a post had already been responded, cuz sometimes a post might be responded 2 times, but with different responds....

There is an indicator. Before entering any topic, notice there is chat logo beside every topic. If that logo is white then you have not replied to that topic. If it is black then that means you have replied.
