We know that private keys are random and secret numbers or digit, which links a user to its crypto assets

Some of the wallets include

Coin wallet

Armory

Bitcoin core wallet

@Upright  Owing private keys of wallets has huge significance as these keys are secret numbers/digits and are important in accessing crypto assets. Private keys can't be recovered, If someone forget his private keys. I've heard of blockchain so far, but your title has added another dimension. I was not familiar with Exodus, Coin Purse, Armony, Bitcoin Core Wallet but now I will review them to get the best result as I have just used Blockchain Wallet.

Yobit wallet

Paper wallet

@Usmanjaam123 The wallets that have private keys are used to unlock funds from blockchain directly. But coinbase does not have private key, yobit is a custodial exchange, custodial exchanges do not have private key. Paper wallet and blockchain wallet generate users private key while all noncustodial wallets have private key.

Private key is very important, but seed phrase is as important as private key, because both can be used to recover back wallet, and seed phrase can be used to regenerate back private key, but it is the private key that is used to spend bitcoin.

Yes, this is correct, but seed phrase can not be used to unlock funds from blockchain, only private keys can do that. But they can both be used to recover back a wallet. This is a good information @KarlJohn1

@Wsn that means private key means we are our own bank, because the private means we own and control our crypto ourselves. But custodial wallets are not having this and the reason why we should not store funds on them.

Yes, private keys are created at random, which makes hacking them extremely difficult, if not impossible. You should never give out your private key to someone because it would put all of your money in jeopardy.

I advise you to install a private key and make it very powerful. And to put it for all your accounts from wallets and sites, so you will not mistake the keys and will still be faster to use.
