Does your country accept bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

 

Many of us ask ourselves daily, does this country support the cryptocurrency or bitcoin project?

Or does the country I live in support the cryptocurrency project?

So today, I wanted to share this picture with you, which shows who are the countries that accept Bitcoin? Who are the countries that consider bitcoin illegal!

 

 

 

But has countries' acceptance of Bitcoin become important after the success demonstrated by the project after the Corona crisis?

For me, I think it is not important anymore to know if the country accepts Bitcoin or not!

In my country (Colombia) it is no longer considered a neutral state before cryptocurrencies, they have just authorized projects that seek to legalize the purchase, sale and transfer of cryptocurrencies through private banks without the introduction of taxes, we are already moving towards a developed country.

I think you are very lucky! Certainly, such decisions will have a great impact on the people! As for my country, it is so far neutral because of the ignorance that our people live! I think that 50% of my people do not know about encrypted information at all, and 45% know about it superficially, but the remaining 5% are well aware of the importance of the cryptocurrency project

Despite all this, and although Bitcoin is illegal in Bangladesh, I have many friends who work on the cryptocurrency project and have become rich through their work here! I especially mention my friend Riad! My friend, can you explain more in detail about how people in Bangladesh are coping with Bitcoin matters? @Dorjoy12

Yes, the number of people using cryptocurrency in the country where I am: 13 million. This is an incredible number. There is even an ATM for bitcoin. I also saw that btc was sent as a gift at weddings. In fact, it has become so widespread that there are claims that the state in the country where I am will receive taxes from cryptocurrency users.

Unfortunately it is banned here but i think it will be legal in the next years because this currency will be famous thing so i wish that to start investing in the bitcoin and earn some earnings cause i love this.

I hope that in your country the knowledge about cryptocurrencies becomes more general, in my case it was the banks that proposed the plan to include cryptocurrencies in the economic system, sooner or later these ideas will expand!

I don't think that Bitcoin is illegal in Russia. I don't know exactly how they handle cryptocurrencies but I remember quite well there was a law that made legal all cryptocurrencies. Of course since half this forum is in Russian, the Russian friends will answer this better than me. I don't know what the difference is between restricted and illegal either. Maybe this has to do with some regulations that allow some people to hold and report they hold cryptocurrencies, but I don't see how something like that could ever be enforced.

All things considered, I liked this post. Thanks for giving us this, and we can always try to find the truth by ourselves.

My country does not officaly accept crypto currency but as we know a large number of countries around the world has accepted it. So, I hope soon my country will also accept crypto currency.

By the way, though Bangladesh not yet accepted crypto currency and especially bitcoin but still there has good oppurtunity to exchange crypto  currency by many p2p exchange ..  also you know Binance, Kucoin   now accepted our P2P trading feature by Bkash digital money transfer systame..

And my country, Syria, suffers from the same issue, not because the government in Syria prohibits this! Rather, it is because of the economic sanctions imposed by the United States of America on Syria! Which made it very difficult for us to transfer our money to cryptocurrencies! But there are always secondary solutions to such problems! Such as communicating with an external broker to transfer money into cryptocurrencies

Exactly, countries like Syria and Venezuela are seeking the possibilities to uplift the country's economy by allowing the cryptocurrency transactions. So many other countries are in the row to recognize its potential slowly but steadily.

So sad, such sanctions are still there in your country? If yes, how your government is attempting to get rid of such obstacles? Are some reputed exchange platforms still banning your country?
