Dear Members,
I have just detected a dangerous scamming trick from a scammer that was promoted even on our forum! 
I created this topic for the "For Beginners" section because newcomers in the crypto world are more likely to fall into their trap, let's follow me to be safe! 
First of all, the scammer has referred to a scam site https://uni-airdrop.net/ that is almost similar to the official Uniswap site https://uniswap.org/ and he has carefully designed the website by adding a button to redirect the official Uniswap app.
The scammer is attempting to convince readers, an airdrop is announced from Uniswap's Twitter page with the edited photo, check the following pictures!

Once you entered into the malicious site https://uni-airdrop.net/, there is a "Claim Airdrop" option!

 

Then, you will be asked three things to claim airdrop i.e. ETH address, ETH amount, and UNI Tokens in your wallet.

 

After you entered the details, on the next page, you will be asked to enter your wallet's private key in this way! 

 

 

 After all, a scammer steals your funds from your wallet as he will already have your private key. 
Be extremely careful guys, don't share your private key with anyone else !!

P.S. I have tested site with the Random ETH address, I do not even recommend you to test this scam site😀!

I had watched this thread and as I remember I had reported this using the report feature. However these types of posts are coming many times here in forum.And Twitter is full of tweets like this these days.

It's ridiculous how these people asks for Private Keys in the name of AirDrop. 

As a lesson, I had went to their site and gave fake adress and fake private keys many times so that they would mess up retrieving the data obtain from Phising.

Anyway thanks for your alerting the community about it, I hope none of our Cryptotalk members get affected by this😊.

These alone is enough to confirm the illegalities and how it's not authentic at all,I have never seen or heard of any airdrop that asked for participants private keys,

Everything is a matter of always staying informed, of carrying out in-depth investigations, especially by visiting official sites to verify the existence of possible promotions. We must stop being naive and put ambition aside wanting to get easy money. Falling into traps like this can be quite expensive. Thanks for putting us on alert my friend!

Good idea to warn newbies about this. Scammers are also usually using multiple newb accounts that comment how they tried it and it works. I've also reported every article that they post because they seem to post quite a few of these.

 

I am hoping that cryptotalk would use their algorithms to block every message with that url from now on. Except this one of course :).

Rofl. Uni-airdrop.com differs a lot from uniswap.com. I could hardly imagine a person, that actually won't see something wrong there. And who is so crazy to tell their private keys?

Thanks for this big heads up, mate. It is important that everyone, especially newbies, bewares of this frauds. Then, the best thing we can do is spreading the word massively. I find that lots of scams  using Uniswap's image have been wildly emerging ever since this DEX had its big airdrop back in September. Unfortunately, many naive people has been falling pray to these scammers.

Unfortunately almost all airdrops are scams, only a few pay the rewards. We must be careful because many of the so-called airdrops to pay the rewards request a deposit and that to pay for the gas, these are surely more than scams, others place the alleged Cryptocurrencies at very low prices for those who want to buy. This is uncomfortable for these things to happen with these scammers, so we have to support each other and report these cheaters.

@rekter Instead of posts, find the posters. I am surprised, his shill accounts are there to prove the fake claims 😂🤣!

Oh dear, you are also wrong here, uniswap.com is still the wrong domain, prefer https://uniswap.org/ !

@Jromz It was an attractive airdrop from Uniswap and myself, I am that luckiest one to receive that airdrop for my two wallets. Many people missed this golden chance and scammers are finding the way to cheat people by using the image of Uniswap !!

Thanks. I saw someone post it on cryptotalk here a day ago. I knew it was scam because of the requirements.  Also the poster and the commenters endorsing it just created the accounts used. They are probably the same person.

@Oyetoyy Fortunately, moderator has already banned his all shill accounts and all similar posts are removed from the forum. If you are noticing such scamming topics on forum, do not forget to report against them to moderators.

@Whited35 that is what I should have done. All I did was gave the post a negative rating. Next time I see such posts, I will surely report it so that it will be removed before others will fall victim of the scam. Thanks for the advice.

As I have already mentioned in the previous comments, you might seek the posters and when using the report post feature, mention his profile link to the moderators so that busiest moderators can fix the issue as soon as possible to save so many visitors falling into the scamming tricks of the scammers. @Oyetoyy We need to contribute forum to keep it clean from the scammers.

Glad to hear you got the rewards, mate. As you say it was a unique, golden opportunity. Unfortunately this has been taken by fraudsters to promote scams all over the place. It's important to always stay alert regarding fake "Uniswap" airdrops, apps, etc.

@Jromz Unfortunately, it's the problem but still guys are falling in their trap and harder to save all of them. I have already revealed how the airdrop scam works to cheat so many innocent users.

Well done uncovering all the scam as it is scared me to think about it. The moment we are asked for private key we should leave.

@Mella Fortunately, moderators have immediately removed the posts to save so many members falling into such traps. I am glad to have the most active and smart moderators on our forum. There are still some posts in the bounty section and I need to check them thoroughly to find if there are any malicious links.

Nowadays scammers are making it really difficult to identify scam links. Especially here we see that they have placed the link in such a way that any user would think it is legitimate. I am sure those people who use this would definitely find it helpful and would be really grateful for sharing this. So always keep in mind that you should never share your private key with unknown person.

Have a look at this scam. First of all, users think like scheme is real and working but on the another page, scammers have carefully designed an option to let users to put private key and it will be the turning point to lose the entire funds from the crypto wallets. I immediately warn cryptotalk community if I notice anything suspicious on the forum.

Too many scammers use uniswap for stole money. Never send your pricate keys to anyone.. This is easy and very important advice. So original.. But this topic maybe can useful for someone..

This is the most common trick that scammers are currently preferring to steal the money from the fake airdrop. Uniswap airdrop was itself very attractive and scammers have cleverly understood the common psychology of users to attract them into their traps.
