But the restriction yes exist, because on the restriction mentioned the prohibition of putting picture contain animation for Cryptotalk avatar. I have not used any cover photo or banner for this place but I think these are available on the internet and you can resize the poster according to your will and that is the best way to put the banner at your account

Well its not a big deal as it's to change your cover photo as u have to upload the desired photo and if there is some error in the size then u can use some online softwares to change its size in jpg etc still u should focus on your post work

I am yet to put my display picture, I really have no idea about the size of the picture we can use for our profile picture or cover picture ,although I attempted but it told me I the size of the picture is big ,it didn't save, I guess I would have to use a lesser picture

If you're talking about the resolution, I don' really know the exact resolution that is accepted for the cover photo. But if I'm not mistaken, they only indicate the size of the photo that could be accepted. So it could be whatever resolution as long as it is the same size as what they are indicating.

You can upload photo of 499kb as a cover photo at this forum. Pictures of more than 499kb can not be uploaded.

Personally, i think that this is a wonderful and cool feature for the members who like to personalize their ID.

I don't actually know the size of the photo all we do is select a file from any folder and is to be uploaded. There is no requirement of any further sizing of the photo .

The profile pictures actually size is just 165px/155px. But I do not know what is the actual size of the cover photo. Although I am a designer but cryptotalk not said what is the actual size of the cover photo. You can use a 2000px/200px cover photo. This is perfect size in my point of view.

I do not know the size myself but you can resize the photo when you are uploading and setting it to the profile picture, you will get the basic editor for that.
