How many people needed to open a local section

Good question I am Brazilian, and it would be nice to have a section for Brazilians .. But until then who knows the adm do not ..

If they add my local section I can handle it of course but I do not think there are much people from my local in here too. With other forum we really do not have a local section because of not having much demand. So I am talking here considering the traffic in there.

I have another issue which is I am not good at typing in my local language but I think for a mod this should not be a big deal at all.

It is up to the admin of this forum. But for me I think it is better to have many language. Because you can post better and can be more understand when you use your own language. And at the same time. Some people dont't know how to use English language that is why there is a nee for them to have their own language in the forum. I think the user of this page will increase if they can have their own language to use with the discussion. Thou i'm fine with the use of english  language.

Okay, let me get this straight. You're not even good at writing your local language?

Can you develop your story further to understand why you are not able to have good grammar in your local language?

No I have not any issue with grammar or understanding. In fact I am very good at speaking, reading, writing my local language. But I have never practiced computer typing for my local language coz it never needed. So when I go to write a 5 to 10 words line it takes me ages LOL

I can manage but this slow typing speed in my local language piss me off so I actually do not use it at all and that became a habit now.

I think we need more local sections, I know a lot of people that will feel more confortable talking on they own language, Spanish is one of the most speaking languages in the world and we don´t have local section for this right now, I hope and the near future we see this updates.

For those who are regular in typing in my local language for them these are not problem but for someone like me who is not very much used with the layout - it really is very hard for me. Another thing is that I think I have shut down my mind for this somehow thinking that it is not going to happen with me which actually resulting me not to get a good grip in that.

They say if a man wants then he can do it and with me I really do not have much motivation there. I am happy with what I have - I mean with this entire international board.

Returning to moderator conversation, I would leave the job to someone who doesn't have to turn off their brain to communicate with me.

Yeah of course. I see there are some users who are really seeking for local sections and these people deserves it. In fact local section will boost up the traffic in a high percentage. But as I said earlier - may be admin is waiting for the right time and right person to entrust as the local mods for the sections.

At this moment I am seeing this to be a very important addition besides adding some sub section for the boards.

I think the main problem with the local boards is that you have to select trusted people to control the sections and the forum is way too young for that... don't know how they did select the actual mods, but I think it was on the russian section ...

I am 100% sure about it that admin is awaiting for the right guy to entrust with the local boards. It's just a common sense that we will have local board sooner or later.

Talking about the Russian section - well since I believe the admin is from the same territory, it was easier for him to have this section and to hire the mods from his local area I guess. So far we have seen some of our mods are Russian speaking too.

It gets easy when you know the people and their work but for a different culture or language it's not much easy.

you are right there, it is not only about language, it is also about different cultures... it will not be easy to select the mods to control local boards and you need to have one for each language and each one has it's own culture and unknown past...

admin and current mods will have a hard time checking these local boards, so they really need to trust the selected ones

Russian seem to be one of the most common language talked apart English. I am Italian but I tend to speak in English too. All depends on what the moderator are speaking. If someone has to get into a problem... is better if they can understand the language. Therefore I believe they have english and russian moderators that will help them 😉

In fact they can not check there at all. Automated translation? Not good when you are going to check the proof reading. You will not be able to get the local politics between the members, you will not have any clue about any abuse. So yes it is really hard unless they find a right guy it will be all mess.

I hope soon we will see some people who will be entrusted by the admin. He is possibly following most of us to see who is doing what.

If there is going to be a portuguese local board, I'll surely participate... it will be nice if there is a portuguese/brazilian community here that is large enough to produce volume that justifies a local board...

Anyway, I think there are few locals who are very active in crypto space. And judging from the other forum I can tell that they have a very good userbase in those local languages.

Philippines

Germany

Arabic

Spanish

Croatian

Turkish

Romanian

And few more have lot's of users. Seeing some of these will be nice in here too.

it doesn't make sense for me to have any number limits. because there may be 5 French, but if the French local language group is opened, it can participate in hundreds of French forums. therefore, all local language groups should be opened without any conditions and limits.

New local session is good other language there is lot of french people here but all speak in English to easy communicate with other foreign language 

for me i can speak french very good but there is no french session so i waiting for it
