Problem is that there is also transaction time for withdrawals... and if you wait to long price can change fast, if you have stuck transaction, and you will not earn but most probably lose

Well, there's nothing much to lose though. It's true that in case of BTC there's a chance of losing more. Arbitrage is risky if you don't manage the time.

I never tried it though. There are some people who always look for this and gain from it.

Everything depends on the buying and trading prices of users choice, some exchanges have high buying/selling demand so their prices have different from all exchanges. This cannot be changed but you can utilize this opportunity and can do margin trading.
