KYC or not

There are many that don't like KYC when registering in exchangers or Amy crypto site, but is really important which all the member in the site identity will be gathered and will help to reduce illegal activities in the site.

It is said that the year 2021 will be the regulation year for cryptos. When the governments start issuing regulations to the exchanges, it will be mandatory for them to do KYC checks for their customers. Some of the exchanges are already prepared for this. But some others will have to request us to do our checks. I don't think there is any harm in doing KYC checks for some exchanges we trust.

 

As for the security reasons, I don't think doing KYC for some random airdrops is reasonable. We should avoid that as much as we can. They can steal our personal information and sell it to the third parties.

I believe that if it should be done so that there is better security with respect to the exchange with which you are working, although you must analyze well where the personal data is entered so that there are no later privacy problems or identity theft, but in the end Everything is to taste since now there are many decentralized exchanges in which no verification is needed and in which there is more privacy but there is also the risk that in case of failure there is no possible way to fix it since everything is anonymous and that it can be a problem in case we make a mistake

Of course not, because I want to secure my privacy. I avoid such excahnges or bouties where KYC is compulsory because I don't want to trap in any kind of scam.

I hate KYC requirements in cryptocurrency exchange sites.I use Yobit exchange because Yobit never asked to upload KYC & address verification documents.I doubt many cryptocurrency exchange sites which ask KYC because there is no guarantee for safety of our documents.

I never ever do that. I never provide any platform I don't have FULL trust with my KYC. These airdrops are just traps to sell our information to large companies, in most occasions. If I am ever sure about the trustablity of the airdrop, I still ask around and get it confirmed form multiple people and sites.

The KYC is only for security, but of course it is up to each person to do it, in my opinion I would recommend passing KYC in safe places or sites since there is a high probability that some new site will only ask for your KYC for other things, so that it is better not to do any KYC on untrustworthy sites.

First, you have my love mates. Well if I'm to advise, I will say you should always do your KYC while registering on exchange and as well doing bounties. Because it doing KYC also have it own advantages. That is my take, More greetings

I like to keep myself anonymous especially when it comes to money matters. So I try to avoid those places which require KYC. But many sites insist on KYC before registering a member.

I like KYC because scanner can't take money from us through KYC, can't join without KYC so if there is KYC on any site or exchange then that site is good.This is why I like KYC.

I also do not like using KYC because it requires providing a lot of personal information, such as a copy of a passport or ID card, and many sites that offer rewards for KYC authentication are SCAM sites and use our data in illegal operations.

I have not tried it at all and I did not realize what I know your customer, but now I am aware of it. Is it really stealing my ideas and personal information and selling it to companies to adopt and implement it if they like them if it really is so I don’t want to try it at all

I normally will refuse a KYC but then again, it depends on the web site & what I am signing up for. If its a broker I want to open an account with, I have to do the KYC if I like it or not. But on some of these faucet sites, I refuse. Who knows who has access to your personal info or how secure is your personal info stored.

 

This is one of the ways ID theft happens. People give out their personal info just to about anybody.

The kyc is a good way to prevent scammers from using multi-accounts, thus preventing the accounts from being unique by people and this is the positive of kyc and I really like this option at least for me.

Have you ever thought about why they are taking our data?
We have to do this because they may use our data in an illegal manner and it may affect us.
I don't like getting these rewards.
Better search for a better website that offers good profits.

I have the same thought as the person who created this publication, I try to avoid KYC since I think it is an identity theft, this can be used a lot to scam us and steal our money from these platforms, it is very sad to see that the KYC is being done in most of the exchaing in a mandatory way, therefore we must be very careful of the sites in which we do the KYC.

True, that's so true, KYC verification are not friendly because they ask the most valuable and the most riskiest thing that any one could have, because uploading our identity documented on some site only to earn some money is so risky, so i also don't like using.

I am here at this platforu the main reason behind it there is no requirements of KYC and I don't like kyc verification I don't want to share any personal identity or documentation. This is the best platforum for all of those that don't like any KYC.

I don't agree with kyc either, even though I know that most exchanges do so to avoid problems with the law. The problem is that eventually they can be hacked and the data would be compromised. Also, sometimes privacy is essential in crypto
For that reason, I like Yobit type exchanges, which do not require kyc to be able to make exchanges and its operation is really simple. I hope that in the future there will be more exchanges of that kind so that there will be more privacy and my data will not be in danger.

I don't always like to use KYC because it contains my personal identity but top exchange site like binnace ask for your KYC before validating your registration but exchange like yobit don't ask for your KYC verification.

In my case it strictly depends on which KYC will be used, for example in reliable exchanges and p2p markets where I need to work I do the KYC without any filter, however I refrain from doing it on investment platforms or that are giving away coins through airdrops or campaigns , since my sixth sense tells me that it may be a bad decision.
