If we discuss about free crypto then it's all about airdrop. I want to give some opinion about this topic. 
Crypto for now like part time job. Except for people who contribute their whole life and living from trading in cryptocurrency. So for them, searching for right airdrop is not a waste time thing. But for peoples (traders) who just focuss on trade and has a real life or real job to do everyday, then Yes it's waste of time. Because airdrop is not something you can enjoy the result or rewards in short time, it is like, you want to get free money from it ??? you need to be patient. And many airdrop asks us to get refferal, so for them who just using crypto as part time to make additional money, they will think this is waste of time. Or they don't think like that, if they just search for free crypto in free time.

You are absolutely right, I have been looking for airdrops for a year and almost all of them have been scams and the legitimate few have paid me little or practically nothing, then I started looking for how to earn cryptocurrencies by watching advertising and I realized that the profits are very miserable, you have to working a few hours for a month to earn about a dollar is not worth it.

I agree with you, I think free sites like airdrops and ads are only a few legitimate, they give a lot of conditions but are just a scam. Yes you are right, most of the sites and platforms ask us money to give us back a huge amount. And this offer may attract some people into scams. And most probably we wont gain any crypto and we will lose our money. And some sites offer us coins and make us do some sort of work, all such sites wont be legit. Some may give us so small amount of money, which is really a waste of time. But still there remains some good platforms which gives us coins for our work.
