GET PAID by Reporting Spamers

This is a good idea, my friend will help improve the quality of posts, and we must always report any spam or unimportant topics until the forum remains clean.

I agree with you, this is a really cool idea and I think the admin should see this forum and apply it for this forum's famous report for the welfare of this forum, left because who likes them? Plus it would be our way to make some money, good advice bro. Maybe everyone will be more interested. Will lean more.

This proposal is nice but this need some  terms to full fill.Its mt opinion we allow this to only Full or senior members.Because they spend the most time on forum.The newbies can report but not get payment ,only their post counted.The senior members know how to report spammers and drag out copy paste users.This become privilege for members to get extra payment for reporting.A listed members do this job not some newbies who ruin this by emotional feeling .They bring grudges to each other.The extra payment can make strife between members.

This idea of getting paid for reporting is not new. It has already been raised a long time ago, and the idea drew flak from other members who felt that reporting should be voluntarily made instead.

Yes your advice is valuable. It may work better but one thing is that a lot of members here don't get difference between spammers and real users so that compaign starts, for the sake of money they will start reporting all members how they are real members or spammers..

Your advice can be encouraging but I think reporting spams is the duty of all members to keep the forum as clean as possible so that only technical and helpful contents stay in topics. Reporting is not that difficult. You only have to state the reason for your report to help identify spammers better. A reward system can help but only a few satoshis per report will suffice.

no that wo'nt cause they will ruin their reputation and may be warned or baned for abusing the campaign for false reports.  and also moderators will have to check very possible report and that they have good reporters and bad reporters who may be discqualified from the campaign or warned/banned from this forum

If you're talking about this pinned thread https://cryptotalk.org/topic/4748-report-plagiarism-copypaste/ then you do get paid 1000 satoshi, not for the actual report but for posting in a paid section just like any other regular posts. I post reports on that thread only when I have to report chronic copy/paste violators only, and for violators that do some other offenses, I use the regular 'report post' button which is free of charge. 

 

Most of the time, shitposts are obvious shitposts at first glance. For cases such as plagiarism, reputation abuse, etc., damning evidence is needed. And don't ever think of mods being too stupid to take action on just any report: they do checks on them to make sure that there aren't any false and malicious reports being made.

 

Looks like I still haven't given a 'yes or no I agree' to this topic. Here's mine: a big NO. And this is coming from someone who has made so many regular reports that the mods can now recognize the name: yours truly.

 

There are already a lot of replies here that gives some valid reasons as to why it shouldn't be, and it falls down to one word: "ABUSE". Maybe someone might have a bright idea of maliciously reporting just about anyone who crosses him: the thought of getting revenge and being paid for it (two birds with one stone) is just too delicious an idea to simply ignore. Or if the satoshi reward for reporting is bigger than actual posting here as someone here suggested (*5000* sats?) then maybe someone might have a bright idea of creating a report farming scheme where one main account will report dummy accounts of his own creation.

 

If there is an abysmally minuscule chance of this suggestion being approved, it should be given only to members who are seasoned reporters and have proven themselves. They might as well be turned into some kind of sub-mod or something like that. And with great power comes a great price: if they are proven to have abused their power, not only they are banned from the forum, but the Bitcoins they have accumulated from the forum will be removed from their Yobit accounts as well.

I don't care whether I earn some satoshis from reporting spammers, or not (and I think it should not be paid!).

 

These people ruin the forum for others; that alone should be enough reason to report them ... keeping the forum clean is a reward in itself.
