Note: in some exchanges, it will be: "Settings" — "Account Security" — "Enable 2FA".

I think 2fa at exchangers important if you have at lest few BTC. Protect your accounts is always good, but I don't want to use 2fa everywhere. I think it is enough to protect your email. But if your mail will hacked you can lost all your money.

In every crypto exchange there is a setting option. First of all you have to find it then you have to fing 2step authentication option. If you find it you will see some option you have to choose google 2 step or sms. If you choose google 2 step you have to download an app which will be mention there. Now you will find a secret key. I suggest following method for 2FA.

Visit crypto.com/exchange and select the Log In button (upper right-hand corner). Go to your Profile and select Security. Under 2-Factor Authentication, you will see the button to Enable 2FA. A screen will appear and provide you with more details.

That's right, if we want to protect our assets we should activate the 2fa option, but it doesn't mean our assets will be %100 safe. In crypto world every exchanger can get hacker attack that's why i always use my own private wallet. Some big exchanger has a insurance but most of them doesn't have insurance, that's why we should be carefull before chosing exchanger.

Thanks for the information. it is very important for security. f2a is a decent method that can be used to protect your accounts. however be aware that if you lose the device you use for authorisation, you will also lose access to your accounts. the recovery process is possible but it takes time so a backup device (2nd phone) can be used when scanning your qr code in the activation process.
