In my opinion, the short-term bitcoin price is greatly affected by the news. Trading bots are associated with news websites and indexes, which respond instantly by changing certain words and numbers.

It is not real people but programmed bots are creating high instability

I think in a natural environment crypto markets will definitely be affected by the outside news. But as we all know, there are individuals with tons of bitcoins, and they manipulate the market at will. Hence it depends upon them which news they deem worthy of manipulating the market, and which ones they dont. Please remember, it is a higly manipulated market.
