My friend, when talking about money laundering, the issue revolves around illegal money, and this is a process that fraudsters and criminals carry out, and this process takes place as follows: These funds come from an illegal source and in order for it to become legal, they enter it with legitimate business, as an example of that is the construction of a building with a certain amount of these money  And selling it at fictitious prices beyond imagination, then it turns this illegitimate money into legitimacy, or depositing this money in banks. Do not ask about the source of this money and transfer it to other banks. It is a somewhat complicated subject. I hope the idea is sufficiently understood. I wish you success

Money laundering is understood as converting money obtained fraudulently or through theft or illicit activities into clean money from legal activities. This is the detail, the source of the money, if it is illegal the money is black and if it is a legal source it is clean, white money. What those who work with dirty money do is that they invest it in legal activities, such as buying real estate and thus converting it into legal money, that is, they wash it or launder it.

I read a lot about money laundering and i'll give some examples money laundering with using bitcoin. Laundering money through bitcoin is a bad idea not only because it’s illegal, but also because it leaves a permanent trail. Defendants have repeatedly been undone because they’ve relied on the cryptocurrency for some part of their nefarious activities. Sometimes, they’ve been arrested years after their alleged crimes.

@althaaqib Money laundering is nothing more than bringing the money obtained illegally to legality through methods that range from construction of goods to retail in bank deposits, when the mafias manage to obtain money from their criminal actions they need to enter it into the torrent of legal money that countries have, then they can create foundations, construction companies, banks, etc.
Money laundering is very frequent in almost all countries, in some more than others, of course, but none escapes this scourge that grows more and more every day, drug trafficking and terrorist financing are two segments that concern countries and That is why they emphasize these to attack their possible income of money through laundering.

Money laundering is actually the transfer of money without showing it to the state. Cryptocurrency can also be used for money laundering in a negative way because transactions to crypto are anonymous and very difficult to to follow.
