Dear Members, Thank you, my dear friend, for this very valuable and useful information for me and for many members who fear being cheated, in short to avoid theft you have to be smart and careful, you must create a very strong and rare password, not to enter unknown links and put your money in  Portfolio not connected to the Internet

I think that we must not respond to spam and inform our supervisors about them so that they can act with them as necessary. We must not trust anyone whose intentions we do not know and we do not know and avoid responding to those who communicate with us on Telegram and who ask us for investment funds.  Our wallets and accounts have strong passwords and not divulge them to anyone in order to avoid theft and fraud. Also, you should not enter untrusted or suspicious websites

Don't play with crypto, use your money to buy bank product and get the interest. Bank will protect your money from scammer and you'll never lost. If you can't accept the risk I think never touch it, every method already used but the result to avoid scam fail and many people bankrupt because crypto.

I agree with you, my friend, as I always recommend hardware wallets if you have a large amount of cryptocurrencies because they are the most secure among all wallets and cannot be hacked or stolen money from them because they are not connected to the Internet.

Your words are correct, my dear friend, because the offline wallet, according to my view, is more secure than protecting our currencies from theft or sudden fraud on the Internet, and we can set a password for it and secure it completely as is the case in the electronic wallet

You have to pay close attention and be careful in dealing with people you do not know, be in control of your mind and do not be fooled by the offers they present to you, do not enter into suspicious or unreliable links, And beware of Telegram channels, that phishers are abundant there

The first fraud method on the list is one that you may already be aware of, as it has also been used extensively to target banking, financial markets and corporate clients which is 'phishing'.
When you receive an email that appears to be from your bank - or in this case, from a cryptocurrency exchange or your wallet, that email contains a link that takes you to a site that looks almost identical to the platform or wallet you usually use, but It's actually a fraudulent site, so always check the URLs to make sure you visit the original platform site and don't click on suspicious links that are being sent to you via email.
Fake platforms and wallets, in a context similar to phishing, keep an eye out for fake cryptocurrency trading platforms. They may speak like a reputable platform, but they are just a façade for stealing investor money and once they get your money, these platforms may charge high withdrawal fees, make it very difficult to withdraw funds or simply steal your entire deposit.
To avoid fraudulent IPOs, research any project before investing in it. Look at the team behind the project, see the worksheet, the purpose of the currency, the technology behind it, the team, and the characteristics of the digital currency.

I personally think that being skeptical about things would be a basic thing so that one can prevent from being scammed. It is important that you do not trust in an instant so that you can be saved from that happening.

That's right, new investors who do not have a lot of cryptocurrencies cannot buy a cold wallet because its price is high, for me I use a trust wallet and encrypt my private keys and store them in a safe place in order to protect them.

The wallet's passwords should also be saved and written on the paper and placed in a safe place that is better than keeping the password on the phone or computer, because it may be hacked and data stolen from it, and the wallet addresses should not be placed in unsafe locations.

@Elias99 Scams in the world of cryptocurrencies are common, anywhere where money is used, scammers will try to steal it, so it is the task of each of us who work in this ecosystem to stay alert and stay away from the suspicious things that we see. Every day anywhere, on Discord, telegram, twitter, email, etc., entering suspicious pages and clicking on the links they send us, and above all trusting someone we do not know personally but in a virtual way is something you can do that we lose our coins.

These are some important tips, but I wonder about keeping bitcoin in some decentralized portfolios. Is it better or keeping it on a computer on hardware wallet?.
