Yes mate you have to do KYC mendatory, to recieve you coins , this was happend to me also , i have waited for a month then i do my KYC and then the mail with the link came and then i join the airdrop after joining i had view the video and join the quiz after that my token are credited to my coinbase wallet.

I would stay away from Coin base, because of their KYC policy. It stinks. Their KYC policy is too invasive. I say the same about any exchange located in the USA, stay away from them. There are many exchanges located thru out the world, use one of them instead on any USA exchange.
