Will ethereum 2.0 take over number one place in market cap

Why not? Ethereum is a gem and if what I'm reading about the new development and move to a new blockchain it is probably for the best for price too so it can challenge Bitcoin. It is not very far and it can be the top crypto. Anything can happen since there will be a many interested in the new ether.

Although data processing power of ETH 2.0 will be more than ETH 1.0 but this is not enough to conquer the market in capitalization. The first rival for ETH 2.0 is the classic ETH! It should first beat it and the next level will be bitcoin. In 2022, the second version of ETH will enter its 3rd phase. I think we should wait at least until then to see if it can occupy the market or not. It is still too soon to answer this question for a newborn coin.

I think no one can bitcoin position because Bitcoin is the most popular coin the world and now many big big news coming in favor of Bitcoin, so their is no chance ETH 2.0 will take the position of Bitcoin rank in the CMC.

This is very difficult to determine, since it is not the first time that ETH makes a launch or some fork, therefore I think that everything will depend on how efficient the new ETH 2.0 Network is, let's hope for great news soon, it may be the main network more used in the next few years

This could increase the ETH cap in crypto  market but not gonna make number one in cap because the gap is huge. If we check cap of market BTC have 69% and other altcoins mix size is 31 and in alt ETH have big size. So it's impossible for ETH to become number one.

It would be great if Ethereum did everything correct but still it won't make it to be above Bitcoin. Perhaps it could be closer but the distance in market cap is too much and Bitcoin is not making a new all time high while Etehreum is not even half of its own. So I think that no matter what Ethereum won't make it to first place.

It has always been thought that ETH would surpass BTcx and it has not yet achieved it, Btc maintains its position and every day it is more popular and people continue to add more value to btc for or that ETH and ETH2.0 is still far from BTC

It will always be difficult to determine this way because already ethereum has launched other commercial contracts and they have not reached much more, however in some years it may be the most used currency is likely.

I think it is something impossible, because most of the institutional purchases are directed towards bitcoin, causing its capitalization and volume to increase day after day in an uncontrolled way, which causes these rebounds in price, ETH is a currency with an ecosystem that is key in many aspects, but the first place will always be bitcoin.

Well, it will be possible because ethereum 2.0 has a lot of features added than Ethereum 1.0 especially the gas fee, most of the people are suffering in the gas fee, as far as i know the gas fee of Ethereum 2.0 is lessen than the older one and this will be a good news from us because we can benefit from it to lessen our expenses.

Deer ethereum is really a good coin but not more than Bitcoin and people are also investing in ethereum and earning good profit through it and my friend also earn a very good profit through it but I personally like Bitcoin because they are on number one and their price is increasing everyday.

Ethereum can not take number one in marketcap... it can't override btc market, bitcoin is too strong. no coin can beat it, bch tried, but failed. this eth 2.0 has been looking dull as btc hit 20k above, last time pump, eth hit 1.5k but this time, its so backward for my liking.

ETH 2.0 is a great project but I don't think it can dominate the entire market because BTC is unattainable but of course we can think that ETH2.0 could gain a very good position at some point.
